“This store has nice people but needed to get a key made and drove all the way over to the store just to be told that section of the store was not open on Sunday I would have given a better rating but the last time I came here I was looking for some washers and a bolt I just wanted to browse for myself and if I needed help I’d ask I like to shop in peace but one odd the guys kept following me around even after I told him I was ok and didn’t need any help when I discovered I was not gonna be able to find on my own I asked Anna the smart mouth guy said I thought you didn’t need help and sure fair play but I didn’t at the time need his help come to find out the things I was looking for are in the back note I’m not sure if it’s still like that because it was like 6 years ago but ever since then is why I did not come back which brings me to today the lack of advertising no signs that indicate they don’t cut keys on a Sunday on the web page nothing it would be nice if that was something that stands out when you look up a store that does a certain service like Keys not made on Sundays . Super simple just think about it guys .”

“***BUYER BEWARE**** Unlees you know what you need and u are familiar with why ur doing don’t buy from here!! I made the mistake of coming here bc I had been here and they got guys working thy are suppose help you find why you need…. I came in knowing I could go to Home Depot and get the hint for half the price but I live 4 min away from them so I came in showed them a picture and they got me a guy to help and gave me a breaker said it would work and when my electrician came it was not the right one l…. I ccs me back the following day and tried to return the breaker totqlb19.45 or something well to my surprise there is a no return policy on breakers and allegedly there are signs all over that say they don’t return them. Just go to Home Depot and buy is what I should have done it’s ridiculous they got the manager or someone and she tells me that it says on the case they don’t return them well I never got a chance to look at the case since someone unlocked it and supposedly got me what I needed and walked me to the register. Anyhow just beware bad business to lose a customer over 19.45 I will now be driving a little further but for peace of mind that if they get me the wrong thing I ”

“I love old, independent hardware stores, and Red’s is such a store. However, I’ll never set foot in the place and convince as many people as possible to avoid it due to being followed around the store and accused of being a thief by the old woman who was working there.”

“My work makes us use this store for supplies because they accept PO#'s. Everything is more expensive here than home depot or Lowes. Only a couple employees ever working at a time. Been given wrong keys, when we renewed our store locks. Went to get lumber today. Double the price of home depot for 2x4's and we had to sit and wait for someone to bring us the lumber. We couldn't just go grab it and pay for it and load it. No, you have to pay for it ahead of time, then wait by the garage door because they are short staffed. Then when the guy starts grabbing lumber it's all in a pile that's stuck behind other stuff. Big tripping hazard. 3 out of 5 of the 2x4's were severely warped and he handed them to me like they thought we we were going to pay double price for twisted lumber. Stay away!!!!!”

“They did fix the ignition on my car properly but the locksmith told me He would make a new key after my key got stuck in the ignition. Rather than actually making the new key, they just took the key part and glued it back to the key fob and gave this as the key to start the vehicle. It got stuck in the ignition immediately upon use. Fortunately, I had a spare key. Overall, decent experience and did a good job fixing the actual ignition housing. Would recommend again but make sure to communicate terms clearly with locksmith when having service performed.”

“This was my first visit to the store and I am very impressed. 3 employees asked if I needed any help. 3!!! When going to Lowes or Home Depot I have to track down an employee for help and most of the time I never find one. I am remodeling my house and if I need any tools or paint I will now take my business here. I have never felt so welcome in a store. Y'all are doing an amazing job!!! “The help I received was outstanding. They were able to make me a key for my RV from a broke into pieces key that was missing a part of it that had a cut on it that we needed to make the key work but they figured it out and made it work!!! Outstanding work great job!!!”

There was another problem with the safe that may have contributed to the handle breaking and they were able to fix that in one day and it was very affordable. “The place is always clean and organized. It has almost everything you need. Staff is very helpful but they are not very knowledgeable of things I needed. They hire young men that don't have any idea of plumbing or electrical. Their items or products are pricy. Ex. A hammer for $14 when harbor freight has it for $5. You do the drive or you pay for convenience. Ill go back for the small stuff.”

“We are real estate investors and needed one of our rent house re-keyed, so I thought I would try this local locksmith. On the phone, I was quoted $75-$85 for re-keying 4 to 6 cylinders. Since this was in line with what we are used to paying, I accepted and they said they would be right out. Their technician arrived 30 minutes later the time they quoted. When the job was completed, I was handed a bill for $118.08! Of course some of that was tax, but that's 30% over the quoted estimate! When I questioned the amount, I was told it was for the extra cylinders. Really? I told them how many there would be before they came out. To make matters worse they charged our debit card twice! When I called about that, they said my bank did it and that one of the charges would fall off in a few days? Well that sounded fishy, so I called my bank. Sure enough, my account had been "hard charged" twice and the vendor would have to fix it. When I told the lady we get better pricing and service from our other locksmiths, her response was "Use them next time." We will. Still waiting for the refund for the duplicate charge.”

“Went there today to get some keys made for my lock box on my work truck, had to go there because Lowe's or anywhere else couldn't make them, David the locksmith was very informative and made sure I had no issues with the keys they made. Highly recommended.”

“I usually come here to get keys for my store made and other household items, well my husband went in and bought pressure switches for our compressors and the woman told him if it didnt fit that he could bring them back so i go to return them and they tell me i cant because it an electrical item and there's no way of telling if it was installed.... Are you serious? For one if it was installed i wouldn't be trying to return it and for two you sat there and lied saying that he could bring it back if it didnt fit. Never will have my service again. Lying people i dont like”
