“Taking on a relative's home that needed extensive repairs and updates was honestly overwhelming. There were so many unknowns, and I knew I needed a contractor I could trust. From my very first meeting with Ruiz Painting & Remodeling, I felt confident that they knew exactly what they were doing. One of my biggest concerns was staying within budget, and I really appreciated that their initial quote respected that. As the project progressed, though, it became clear that the house needed more work than we originally planned. What I appreciated most was that the Ruiz team never tried to "sell" me on unnecessary upgrades. Instead, they acted as consultants, helping me understand where spending a little more would have the biggest return on investment. For example, they recommended replacing the bathroom countertops and shower door. At first, I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the extra money, but looking back, I'm so glad I listened. Those improvements completely transformed the bathrooms, and my realtor now believes we can price the home at the very top of the market. That was my ultimate goal—maximize the home's value while fixing the problems I inherited—and Ruiz genuinely understood that from day one. Their speed and professionalism also exceeded my expectations. Ricardo told me they could get started immediately, and he absolutely meant it. The painting—both interior and exterior—is beautiful, and the kitchen and bathroom cabinet refinishing looks absolutely fantastic. I also can't say enough about our project manager, Blake. Since I don't live locally, having someone proactive, organized, and exceptionally communicative was invaluable. Blake stayed on top of every detail, kept me informed throughout the project, and made the entire process feel manageable. There is absolutely no way I could have coordinated a renovation of this size on my own. Added bonus, he was super fun to work with and his passion for remodeling was contagious. Finally, I really appreciated the team's patience. As the project evolved, I added quite a few items and even changed my mind on several decisions. They were always accommodating, helpful, and professional, never making me feel like I was being difficult. They simply found solutions and kept the project moving forward. “I recently bought a home in Canyon that was in need of a full paint job - wall single wall, ceiling, piece of trim, and cabinet needed to be painted. Ricardo was the most reasonably priced and most responsive of those that I reached out to for quotes. We requested a pretty tight deadline of around three weeks to complete the entire job. Ricardo and his team were at the house prepping the day after we closed. The last week, they arrived at 4 am each morning just to wrap things up. The work they did was phenomenal. I couldn’t ask for better. It was a lot of house to paint (3000 sq ft, EVERY SINGLE SURFACE), but they did it well with a smile on their face.
