Oconee Painting in Athens

Oconee Painting handles interior and exterior painting jobs around Athens GA. “We were extremely happy with the work the crew at Oconee Painting completed on our house. Luke, the project manager, was very responsive to our questions and in helping us come up with solutions for some additional repair issues we didn't anticipate. Yami and Enrique, the husband and wife team who oversaw the painting of the exterior of our house, were so professional! They showed up everyday exactly on time, worked in the 100 degree heat for 3 full days, and still found time to have smiles on their faces and keep the rest of the crew focused on the job. They made sure to clarify the paint colors we wanted and exactly where to use each color. Everyday before they left the job site, they cleaned up behind themselves and left no trace that they had been there. The paint job was beautiful! Chris and Trey were the carpenters who came to repair the handrails on our screened porch and ended up completing two additional repairs - one that was quite involved - with their only concern being that we were happy with the result. The pictures below show the exterior of our house before (left) and after (right). Just awesome! From start to finish, Oconee Painting was professional and pr”

“We had a wonderful experience with Oconee Painting. Luke was an absolute pleasure to deal with from the original meeting to the final inspection. The crew was professional, efficient and friendly. I highly recommend this locally owned company.”

“TL;DR: I'd recommend Oconee Painting to anyone and expect I'll be calling them again in the future for other projects. I needed my screened in porch painted - the floor, beams, grill platform, and wood screening - and I called several different painters who'd been recommended to me (even another one I'd used in the past). Oconee was the only one to actually pick up the phone and schedule an estimate right when I called. Never got a meaningful response from the others. Zack came out and did a thorough intake, taking lots of pictures. I think the usual guy who would have done this was out so Zack was filling in, but to be honest, he seemed pretty professional and seasoned to me! I got the estimate the next day and it was definitely within what I had budgeted, including a pressure wash and use of my choice of solid stain. We had a little back and forth about when the work would start but ultimately planned it for the following week. The crew came and removed furniture and washed on the Monday of that week, and then came on Tuesday and actually had the job completed in a single day. They were meticulous and thorough. As an example, I selected a solid stain for the grill deck t”

“We had a great experience with Oconee Painting. Will was our project manager and he was wonderful! He was great at communicating. I appreciated how he made our project feel like it was a priority. His team was so respectful of our home. I could not be happier with how our home looks. The color specialist, Lauren, was so helpful! I will be using them again, especially if Will is our project manager!”

“Great crew and work product!! We hired Oconee painting two paint, our renovated deck in our backyard. Final product exceeded our expectations. The crew is very detailed and very professional, and just joy to work with. Everyone we worked with at Oconee painting has been awesome. They will be back again for my next painting job on the interior of the house.”

“Had a great experience with Oconee Painting. Needed 2 toilets installed. Initially worked with Christa who kindly put us in touch with Sid, project manager, who we dealt with and who assessed and monitored the job, etc. He sent Jason to do the job; he was respectful and finished the job quickly and neatly. Everyone was highly professional, very attentive, and they completed the job beautifully. After striking out with so many contractors in Winder, working with Oconee Painting was a breeze! They are competitively priced and it's a relief to have a goto company/ contractor. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend!”

“Had great experience from our first meeting with Sid all the way to final walkthrough. Had popcorn ceilings removed, patch and paint living room, dining room and foyer along with upstairs hallway. The ceiling in living room slopes and it is 17’ tall! Also had front wrap around porch with pickets painted. It was in really bad shape paint wise and now looks brand new!!! Couldn’t be happier with everything 🤩”

“We had a great experience working with Oconee Painting and Sid. We used them to help prepare apartments for move-in at our student community, and they did an excellent job. They were professional, reliable, responsive, and paid close attention to detail. With the busy schedule and tight deadlines that come with student move-ins, having a painting company we could count on made a huge difference. They completed the work efficiently and helped ensure our apartments were looking fresh and move-in ready for our residents. We truly appreciate their hard work and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable, quality painting company!”

“We hired Oconee Contractors & Painting to renovate and paint our new house on the recommendation of our realtor. The owner, Wes, and our site manager, Wil, were always extremely responsive and communicated constantly. They completed the work quickly - despite the size of the job - and we are extremely satisfied. In addition, Wil and the entire crew were a pleasure to work with, and went above and beyond in everything they did. We’ll absolutely reach out to them again the next time we need work done on the house.”

“Oconee Painting did an outstanding job on the exterior of my home. Luke was prompt and professional, managed my expectations and kindly answered any and all questions I had about the project. Milton and his crew had the project prepped and finished quickly. It looks SO good. I also really appreciated that they left nothing behind—I’ve had experiences in the past where I’ve had to clean up after tradesmen and that didn’t happen here. 10/10”

“I had a rental property that needed to be turned around quickly between one tenant moving out and the next moving in. I got multiple quotes, and not only were they the most competitive, but they were able to get everything done within a very tight timeline. Most importantly, the property looked great when they were finished. They made the entire process easy, communicated well, and did quality work. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing work done on their property.”
