Superior Plus Painting LLC

Superior Plus Painting LLC takes on painting work for homes and businesses around Athens. Mauro runs the outfit and handles both commercial and residential projects. The crew covers interior painting, exterior painting, cabinet work, deck staining, fence painting, drywall repair, carpentry, pressure washing, and wallpaper removal. They serve Bogart and the surrounding areas with Mauro often meeting customers for estimates.

Homeowners bring them in for full interior jobs that include patching holes and painting walls plus ceilings. Others need exterior work on older houses with steep roofs or aluminum siding that requires washing, priming, and painting. Crew members like Joel and Marcella handle trim, doors, crown molding, porch rails, soffits, and window headers. Mauro and his team also stain decks, paint pool decking and treehouses, and repaint cabinets to update entire rooms.

They answer calls quickly and often provide quotes the same day or the next. Mauro shows up fast for estimates and keeps customers informed throughout the job, sometimes even after hours. Pricing stays competitive compared to other bids. The crew arrives on schedule, works late when needed, cleans up daily, and finishes on time even with added tasks. Service covers Athens and nearby spots with consistent follow-through from start to finish.

Reviews highlight the clean results, careful prep, and solid quality on both inside and outside work. Customers note the crew stays professional, respects the property, and delivers good value. Mauro and Wendy handle the details well across many projects. DIRT Score 4.9 from 119 reviews on Finds.

“They are wonderful to work with!!! Communication with Wendy was seamless! Mr. Mauro and his crew were super sweet and amazing. They painted our ceiling and living room walls. They patched holes and went above and beyond! Will be recommending them to everyone we know!!”

“Mr Mauro and his team worked ceaselessly with an admirable attention to detail and quality, and gave us a completely renovated house - they did the inside 2 years ago. I would recommend them to anyone”

“We are so thankful to have found Superior Plus Painting! Mauro and the entire team did such a beautiful job! They paid such attention to detail and were truly a pleasure to work with. Mauro was so prompt in responding to us and helpful throughout the whole process! They not only painted the entire interior of our home, but also our cabinets, and it completely changed the look of our home! We will definitely be using them for all of our painting needs!”

“I called Superior Plus earlier in the year to stain our new deck & Mauro & his team did a great job. So I called them again to paint our fence, pool decking, kids treehouse, interior hallway and bathroom- and again very happy with their work. I have to say a big should out to Joel & Marcella who worked so hard & were absolutely lovely to see each day. They were professional, kind, friendly, cleaned up when they finished and went above and beyond! Very happy with this company, and highly recommend if you’re looking for a trustworthy painter.”

“This review is a bit late; I apologize for that. Superior Plus Painting were wonderful to have work on our home last summer. Prompt, professional, and excellent quality work! I will not hesitate to recommend Mauro and his crew to anyone looking for painting services. Thank you again!”

“We can’t say enough great things about Superior Plus Painting! We needed to have all of our interior trim and doors painted, including a couple of rooms with some rather intricate dentil crown molding. I called Superior Plus and the owner Mauro came to our home within two hours and provided a quote on the spot. I got estimates from two other companies (one local and one corporate), but Superior’s price was by far the best. Mauro’s team (Joel and Marcella) arrived on time each day and were extremely pleasant and professional. The first day of the job they focused solely on prep to ensure that all areas were clean and caulked properly. They used top quality paints and were meticulous in their application. We also asked if they could fix a piece of molding and drywall that was in disrepair in our kitchen. We plan to repaint the kitchen walls ourselves in the near future, so I told them to not worry about painting over the drywall repair. Not only did they do a beautiful job fixing the molding & drywall, but they went above and beyond and topped it with some extra grey paint they had in the truck (the closest they had to the grey of our kitchen), just so we wouldn’t have to lo”

“I love his work he is so talented and speaks two languages. Gets the job done and has a loving family. Mauro Perez can get the work done in no time!”

“Very happy with the quality of work Superior Paint Plus did on my house. The entire crew was very friendly and professional. Five stars isn't enough!! If you're considering getting your house painted give these guys a call.”

“The team at Superior Plus Painting did an outstanding job on painting the exterior of our home. It was the best paint job we have ever had done. From the time they got there , they worked hard and never left and worked until 7:00 and 8:00 on 2 days. They were very thorough and took their time with all the prep work before they even began painting. Maureo , the owner came every day and wanted to be sure I was satisfied with the work done. Excellent company, very personable , dependable and in all the years we have been here definitely did the best job ever done on painting our home! Highly recommend them!!!”

“I love Superior Plus Painting! Mauro and Wendy are great to deal with. Pricing is always great and they do great work! After my second project with them....Ill use no one else. Thank you Superior!”

“Mauro and his crew did an absolutely outstanding job - both inside and out! They arrived on time, were professional, respectful, and incredibly efficient. Their attention to detail was impeccable, and they left the house even cleaner than when they arrived. It’s rare to find a team this dedicated and thorough. I 100% recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again!”

“The team exceeded our expectations. Our house is over 130 years old with a very steep roof, dormers, aluminum siding that needed power washed, primed and then painted. The work is beautiful, everything was cleaned up before they left the site and we are super satisfied.”

“Mauro did an exceptional job painting the rails on our front porch. He came on a Saturday and worked through the weekend to get the job done perfectly. He is dedicated and a great craftsman. I would recommend SuperiorPlus Painting to anyone. Great company.”

“I asked for a quote online after a couple of contractors we reached out to were unresponsive or never sent a quote. They responded within an hour, and gave a quote onsite the next day. They started within a week and completed about a week later. They were hard working, detail oriented and made our old house look new(er). They also repaired some old soffit and window headers. The price was great too, especially for the quality work they did. Highly recommended.”

“We absolutely love Mauro and his crew! We will only use Superior Plus going forward. Extremely meticulous and clean. We have never worked with a better crew. If you do not use these guys then you are really missing out on the best work and prices to go along with it. We were extremely impressed and we have found our forever work crew!”

“SUPERIOR is the appropriate name. Mauro and his crew did an amazing exterior paint job on my home. Day one pressure wash to entire prep and paint using top of the line Sherwin Williams. I wouldn't use anyone else. I was kept informed the whole time, even after hours with paint choice, time frame etc.”

“Excellent work! Reasonable prices! I will definitely hire them again for my next paint project. July 2024 update: They painted another house for me yesterday including both interior and exterior work and repaired the front gable and chimney on the roof. Fantastic work! They always exceed my expectations. June 24, 2021 update: I hired Mauro and his team to paint another house, and I'm really happy with the results. This was a bigger job, and the team went above and beyond. They did very neat, precise work, taking their time with the details like stair railing and applied 3 coats to cover the dark trim color with white. Mauro knew how to fix my yucky garage, too. The whole house looks great! Mauro worked with me to get to a price I could afford and he didn't go over the estimate. He even did some extra painting for free, because he's such a nice guy. I highly recommend using Superior Plus Painting”

“They painted the exterior of our house with two coats entirely with brushes. No paint guns. Every joint was caulked and damaged wood was replaced. All for a very reasonable price with excellent service the whole way. Mauro is the best.”

“So impressed with Mauro and his team! We had recently built an addition to our 1890s home and needed to paint it. Mauro and his team pressure washed the addition and the surrounding wing of the house, caulked, primed, and painted the addition ( including several windows) in less than four days. The paint job looks amazing! So amazing that we’re planning to have them back in the spring/summer when we finish the next phase of our remodel. We highly recommend Superior Plus Painting for their quality of work, efficiency, and affordability.”

“Owner is reliable and easy to work with. The crew was respectful and professional in caring for protecting furniture and floors during the job. The work was done in a very timely manner even when we had to add to our list of needs during the process. Mauro, the owner, was always accommodating with our extra requests and made sure the job was done right, and that we were pleased. My Dad and brother have used Mauro’s business many times now and been happy with the results each time. Would highly recommend!”
