“We cannot say enough great things about ColorWorks in El Paso, Texas, and especially Joe! From start to finish, Joe and his team exceeded every expectation and delivered outstanding results. One thing that really stood out to us was Joe’s professionalism and integrity from the very beginning. We were out of state when he came to perform his assessment and provide a quote, but he kept us informed throughout the process and gave us complete confidence that our home was in good hands. Joe and his team completely transformed our home’s roofing, including repairing and restoring our flat garage roof, pressure washing and removing years of pigeon waste and debris, making all necessary substrate repairs, reinforcing problem areas with fiber mesh, and applying multiple heavy coats of high-quality roof coating. They also repaired missing shingles on our two-story roof and restored the missing roof tiles above our entrance, making everything look complete and secure again. What impressed us most was Joe’s attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond. He treated our home as if it were his own and made sure every repair was done right. The results are absolutely incredible. Our house looks brand new, and we truly believe the work Joe and his team performed will help us sell our home much faster. “Joe & his team were amazing! Very professional. Arrived on time and very careful protecting surrounding areas and objects as well as leaving the jobsite clean at the end of each day. What was supposed to take 5 days was completed in only 3 days. Joe went out of his way to make sure we loved the outcome. He removed exterior light fixtures and installed the new ones we had purchased. He also replaced a broken outlet cover. The repairs are not even noticeable since he did such a great job blending the stucco to match the existing one. “When we initially met Joe, he seemed very knowledgeable of the work that needed to be done. Our house needed a lot of work that involved scraping off old paint, sanding, repairing cracks, and stucco. Colorworks is a family owned company. Joe works with his wife, young son, and two very young daughters, who’ve obviously not made painting their career choice, but rather a means to make extra money. The work was sloppy. They lacked attention to detail. They painted over EVERYTHING including hardware, silver toned door transitions, weather stripping, door locks, and most importantly, they painted over a very large old bell that we have in our back yard. The bell had a natural patina that was ruined with paint inside and out. An old milk delivery box was also painted over, including the hardware. It was also painted shut. I expressed my disappointment to Joe, and he said “I thought everything that’s metal was supposed to be painted.” Everything that is metal was painted, completely ruining natural colors and dimension to certain details. Walls weren’t scraped as promised, cracks were filled with silicone rather than removing the stucco as promised, our front door wasn’t sanded. Somehow our detached garage ended up being a different shade of white. Paint chips from the very few areas that were scraped were left in the yard, clogging a spout that drained into a lower level of the yard, basically flooding the area. This paint job was as bad as a landlords special. To make matters worse my husband called Joe a couple of weeks after the work was done, and text him photos of areas that needed repairs. Joe said he was at another job and he’d get back to us in 2 weeks. This was over a month ago. About a month before contracting Colorworks, we’d had 5Star paint the entire interior of our house. 5Star showed up every morning at 7AM. They were meticulous about their skill and the cleanliness of their supplies. They never left a mess. After their work was completed, they’d return to do touchups before heading to their new assignment for the day. They were extremely reliable and I regret not sticking with 5Star to paint the exterior. We will be contracting 5Star to fix Colorworks mistakes.”
