R81 Painting LLC

R81 Painting LLC handles painting work out of Garland, Texas, with Kyle running the crew. They cover full interior painting, full exterior painting, cabinet resurfacing, popcorn removal, and wallpaper removal across the Dallas area. Kyle stays hands on with planning and quotes while the team handles the day to day work on homes.

Customers call them for interior and exterior repaints, kitchen cabinet jobs including repairs and color changes like Iron Ore, ceiling fixes after AC leaks along with new drywall texture, popcorn ceiling removal followed by texture and paint, baseboard and window sill work, and bathroom remodel painting. Kyle, Randy, Oscar, Israel, and Ernesto show up for these projects. Homeowners note the crews handle prep thoroughly, finish two days early on some jobs, repair pet damage to walls and sills, and leave the site clean after staining doors or painting over old oil based surfaces.

Kyle often arrives within an hour for quotes and provides itemized breakdowns that keep costs clear with no end surprises. The crew starts early, finishes in under three days on full house jobs, and adjusts schedules when homeowners need changes. Communication stays strong on most projects though one review mentioned a delay on the initial quote. They work in the Dallas area and take on both small touch up calls and larger insurance or remodel jobs.

Twenty reviews all give five stars. Common points include attention to detail on finishes and edges, quick turnaround times, clean work sites, and crews that stay flexible on changes while keeping homeowners informed.

“We use R81 painting for an insurance claim to fix our ceiling where the AC leaked from the attic. We ended up having them paint our walls as well. They did an excellent job. Finished 2 days early and help hang our new ceiling fan. If you need painting or sheet rock repair I highly recommend R81. Our only issue was timely communication on quote.”

“Kyle was absolutely incredible, we got lucky with him being in the area, and he showed up within an hour for a quote. He is extremely professional, and the quote couldn’t have been any more detailed. The price and transparency was so good, we canceled our other two free quotes that we scheduled. His team showed up early and painted our entire house in under 3 days. I highly recommend using R81 Painting for any job! You won’t be disappointed!”

“Cannot speak highly enough about R81 Painting. They take a vested interest in meeting their customer’s demands while also providing quality advice and assistance. Their built in flexibility allows for changes to be made if necessary. Will not hesitate to call them in future! (Iron Ore color for cabinets)”

“I can’t say enough good things about R81 painting! Kyle, Randy, and their crew were extremely professional. Communication was top notch which is very important to me. They sanded, primed and repainted over old oil based paint in our living room. They did a fantastic job with the paint and the clean up. They had originally said it would take 3-4 days but they got it done in 2! This was the week after Thanksgiving and I was so thankful they were able to finish so quickly. Their estimate for the job was comparable to other companies but I went with them because of the professionalism they showed. They will definitely be my first call when doing any painting on my home!”

“I used R81 to repair and paint my kitchen cabinets; repair, texture, and paint drywall; and paint baseboards and window sills. I’ve been giving this review a lot of thought because I was impressed with R8. The owner Kyle and the painting crew are good people. The best review I can I can give to help others is to confirm that I would absolutely use R81 again without any hesitation. Kyle cares about his employees and is dedicated to delivering a quality product. R81 ensured I was satisfied with the work before requesting final payment, handled my change orders like true professionals, and showed me they know what they are doing. R81 helped me get my house ready ti sell and started the work timely—quote on a Friday and ready to paint on a Monday.”

Working with Kyle and Randy was easy and convenient. Save yourself the trouble—call them first!”

“Kyle with R81 painting has been professional from top to bottom! He always made sure all of our needs were met at all times during our project! He is Honest and Trustworthy! Everytime I had a question or concern during this process he took extra time to answer and adjust to my needs! I had to reschedule multiple times and he never complained once about my availability and adjusted to everything! If you ever need someone to stain or paint your home Kyle is the man!”

“Kyle and his team were fantastic! They were professional and spent a full week at our house. The recommendations and ideas and colors were great. We added shiplap in one room for texture and went with a different color than we had planned in another and it turned out excellent. I’m glad we listened to the advice and the quality of their work is excellent. The next time we have a project we won’t even bid it out. It’s his if he wants it.”

“Just before Christmas, we wanted to spruce up the house. R81 Painting removed popcorn ceilings, textured and painted two rooms. They also stained doors too. We highly recommend Kyle Vandivort. He is a top notch guy that delivers services on a timely basis. He really cares about the quality and workmanship that his company performs.”

“I handled the remodel for my mother in law's house that we are getting ready to sell. The quote I received was detailed and thorough. There was wall and sill damage due to pets in addition to the entire house needing a new paint job. Kyle and his crew repaired those areas to perfection. I am so pleased with the quality of the work, the swiftness, the overall positive attitude of each member of the crew. They left the jobsite clean and tidy. I am an interior designer and have seen a lot of pitiful paint jobs. I highly recommend R81 Painting.”

“I really love the work the team did on my kitchen cabinets. They were professional and the crew that was sent out, they pointed out imperfections before I saw them and were immediately correcting them. I highly recommend R81!”
