Mr Handyman House Repairs

Mr Handyman House Repairs runs painting and handyman work from League City, Texas. The family owned shop has fifteen years behind it and takes on interior and exterior painting, remodeling, fencing, plumbing and electrical installs, and general home repairs across League City and the nearby towns. Gil and Bertino lead the crews that show up for these jobs.

Homeowners bring them in to fix damaged siding and match the old boards before painting the whole wall, build a new drawer after the old one breaks beyond repair, repair a swing on a rental so it passes inspection the next day, swap a backyard door for one with a dog door, replace an old dryer vent with new clamps, hang and remove Christmas lights, clean gutters at the same time, and handle repairs on a Hatteras yacht. Reviewers note that Gil often arrives the day after the call for an estimate and finishes the work a few days later while Bertino returns for repeat jobs on rental homes and gets the fixes right the first time without shortcuts.

The crews answer calls quickly, give clear explanations and fair estimates with no added charges later, and keep the work site clean as they go. They cover League City and surrounding areas, work on both owner homes and rentals, and handle jobs that turn out bigger than expected without pushing the schedule back far. Reviewers mention good communication from start to finish and fair pricing on the final bill.

The shop earns consistent notes for showing up on time, finishing on schedule, and leaving repairs that hold up instead of quick patches. Google lists 4.9 from 27 reviews. DIRT Score 4.5 from 27 reviews on Finds.

“I hired Mr handyman to repair some damaged siding on my house and give it fresh paint, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, he was professional, on time, and easy to communicate with. He took the time to explain what needed to be done, gave me a fair estimate, and did it, no surprises. The siding repair was done really well he matched the materials perfectly, and you'd never think there was any damage to begin with. And the painting turned out even better than I imagined. He was also super careful about protecting the windows. Overall, it was a great experience. The house looks brand new, and I’ll definitely be calling him again for any future work. Highly recommend!”

“From the start, Gil and his crew have repaired and renewed our property to a level we didn't know was possible. They went above and beyond in making sure the repairs were not just patch jobs, but real solutions to ensure we wouldn't face problems in the future. They really understand what salt water can do to property and know how to make sure its not a maintenance issue later. They saved me thousands by identifying and resolving a leak before it could have destroyed a lot of our flooring. They also resourced experts for specific items such as our pool and boat lift. Fair pricing and amazing work. I will use them in the future and you should to.”

“Mr. Handyman House Repairs did a fantastic job! Very nice gentleman and you can tell he takes pride in his work. He did it right instead of just patching or ‘putting a bandaid on.’ I needed my dryer vent replaced since it was pretty old. He came with the vent in its packaging ready to go. He even replaced the clamps. Way better clamps than before! That’s for sure. We’re so excited and so happy to have Gil. Will definitely use him again.”
