“On 2-14-2017 I got an estimate from Keith Moxley at Maaco in Montgomery, Al. on my 1988 GMC Suburban. It was for a total of 978.00 and it would take a week. I told him I would bring it back before the 90 day quote is over. On 3-6-2017 I called to like him know I would bring it in on 3-13-2017 and I did. I drove by that next day to see if they had started on it but it was in the back yard so I drove by that Thursday and it was still untouched in the back yard. I did notice on 3-18-2017 on a Saturday some sanding on the side and the top of the vehicle had been done and it was still in the back yard. I got a call from Keith on 3-23-2017 to tell me that my vehicle was still in his shop and that it had extensive repairs on it. So I asked him when will he have it ready and he said he don’t know, it should be about a week and a half more so I said it need to stay at that quote that I got from him, and his reply was I’m going to try. On 3-28-2017 I got a call from Maaco saying that my truck was ready, so I went to get it and noticed that the rust in the front below the light was just painted over and not removed first. “Had them paint a bumper cover. Very simple task. Went to pick it up and found several scratches where it had been handled poorly after painting. Was told it would take a day to get repainted. I called 5 days later and was told it was ready (they did not call and confirm it was ready). The repaint was ok, although the ends had been dragged across a rough surface and the paint was removed. Fortunately those areas were nearly covered when I installed the bumper cover. I will not use them again.”
