“Edit: For anybody looking into hiring the company, my review is below. This is my response to Mr. Sheffer: it is very interesting that you’re taking the time to answer my review on a public forum and asked me to email you directly because I got NO response when I completed the “internal” review that was emailed to me and a BBB review, so you were aware of my dissatisfaction and remained silent. It speaks volumes. As for the stain vs paint issue, You, and later the project manager on first day in the job site, agreed on paint. The first day of the project the crew leader told my husband that the house siding was stained and in order for the paint job to be done correctly (it was always assumed it was going to be painted as per contract), the stained areas needed to be primed first. At some point, you visited the site and ordered the crew to stop and start using stain (please note that I’m just repeating what I was told by one of the painters. I have no way of confirming this). Only the trim and shed were painted. Thanks for agreeing that you should have informed us of the changes so that we could have made a choice that would have matched our expectations for maintenance and longevi”

“This was the second time I have used Color World Painting at my home. Once again this was an overall excellent experience. The project manager, Phillip Como, was professional, friendly, and organized the job with precision. The work crew (Ramone, Francis, Oscar, and one other young man whom I did not get his name who did most of the outside work) was efficient, friendly, and experienced. There were three projects outside which involved replacing some rotted wood, caulking, and painting. The indoor project was painting my living room and hall ceilings, caulking and painting (oil based paint) the crown molding, and they even touched up the wall paint in places where the walls met the crown molding. They covered the floors and furniture and moved what was needed as they worked through the house for 5 days. We are so happy with the paint and how well they worked to be non invasive to our space. The completed the whole house painting in 5 days and cleans up and put furniture back where it belonged. We did a final walk through with Andre’s to make sure nothing was missed.
