J and R Construction & Painting

J and R Construction & Painting works out of San Antonio, Texas, where they handle painting jobs for homes and commercial buildings. The crew takes on interior and exterior paint work as part of broader remodeling and construction projects around the city and nearby areas like Austin. Their site shows they cover residential updates, commercial renovations, and exterior painting services, giving homeowners and business owners a single crew for multiple needs. San Antonio weather with its intense sun and sudden rains means painters here spend time on surface prep and material choices that hold up over time.

Painters in this area deal with a lot of exterior house jobs because the heat and humidity wear down old coatings fast, so crews scrape, prime, and apply fresh layers that resist peeling. They also handle interior rooms during remodels, matching colors for walls and trim while working around existing fixtures. Commercial projects often involve bigger spaces like offices or storefronts where downtime matters, so the team focuses on efficient coverage without dragging out the schedule. Backyard structures and roofing tie-ins come up too, since many San Antonio properties need coordinated paint after additions or repairs to keep everything uniform.

Customers in San Antonio count on painters to show up on time, finish without cutting corners on prep work, and stick to quoted prices even when surfaces need extra attention from prior damage. Reviews point to solid marks on quality of the final coat and how well the crew explains options upfront, which keeps projects moving without surprises. That mix of steady performance across jobs adds up for this outfit. DIRT Score 3.67 from 32 reviews on Finds.
