Alabama Coatings and Painting

Alabama Coatings and Painting handles painting and coating work out of Tuscaloosa. Mason Robinson runs the company and leads crews on commercial painting jobs plus industrial coatings and concrete floor coatings. They cover interior and exterior repainting, floor systems, safety striping and maintenance painting at schools, hotels, warehouses and manufacturing sites. The same crews also take on work for facility managers and property owners in Tuscaloosa and Huntsville.

Homeowners describe projects that include full interior painting of bedrooms, closets, pantries and ceilings along with exterior house painting and stairwell landings. Crews protect furniture, fixtures and floors during prep, then deliver clean finished surfaces. Mason and Ross check the site multiple times each day to keep things moving. Roberto handled sanding, staining and sealing on a wooden door. Other jobs covered two-story living rooms, dining areas and master baths where the team fixed prior patches and left walls smooth.

Mason answers calls and texts the same day and keeps owners updated on start times and progress. Crews arrive when promised, work through the job without delays and finish ahead of the original estimate in many cases. They use solid materials, clean up after themselves and charge fair rates for the scope. Service reaches homes and commercial sites across Alabama with the same approach on both small repairs and larger multi-room work.

Reviewers keep coming back to the steady communication, the way every surface gets prepped right and the final results that hold up. The team earns praise for showing up on time, staying organized and making sure the owner signs off before any payment. DIRT Score 4.5 from 48 reviews on Finds.

“Huntsville Painting did a great job with our painting projects (3 bedrooms, 2 closets, a pantry, and ceilings.) From start to finish, they provided prompt communication, answered any questions we had, amazing prep that protected all of our furniture, light fixtures and flooring, and a polite and hard working crew. Mason and Ross checked in on site multiple times a day, made sure the crew had all they needed and pitched in as needed. They truly cared that we were completely satisfied. Super nice and professional. We're so happy with the process and finished products! I've attached some before and after pics.”

“Mason and his crew did an outstanding job painting my house. They showed up when they said they would and were professional. Mason met me at the paint store and helped me choose my colors and a good quality paint. He was on the job overseeing the work from start to finish. When they finished he walked around the house with me to make sure that I was satisfied.”

“They painted my two story living room and it looks so much brighter - thank you for such a great job! They were very efficient, finished quicker than the estimated timeframe. They were detail oriented and friends and family were impressed with the paint job. I’d definitely recommend their services! Photos show before (yellow with white stripe) and after (white walls with soft yellow accent wall)”

“I can’t begin to say enough good things about Huntsville Painting. They are one of the most professional, well organized, friendly, and honest residential contractors I’ve ever done business with. When they say they will be there, they will be there! When they tell you what they’re going to do they not only do it…….they exceed it!! They use the best materials. Their team is extremely experienced. When finished with the work, they make sure you’re happy before they accept one single dime. Mason Robinson has assembled a team of hard working professionals that have a great work ethic and are trustworthy! They even removed the downspouts off my house so they could better paint the siding behind them. Who does that? I seldom recommend a company but I absolutely recommend Huntsville Painting!! If you want you house painted right, call them!”

“Huntsville Painting just completed painting the exterior of my home. They did a remarkable job!! They spent the time to prep the exterior, paid very close attention to every detail, and completed the job with precision. This is a very talented painting team! They were always on time, cleaned up very well, and pricing was quite fair. Owner, Mason, easy to work with, knows his business, and takes good care of details and his team. They have my highest possible recommendation.”

“Huntsville Painting did a great job painting four rooms at our house. Mason and his crew were very professional, responsive, and went above and beyond to touch up some mistakes made by the previous painters. We would recommend them and will likely use their services again in the future.”

“Huntsville Painting did an excellent job on our dining room revamp! Mason and his crew were so nice and really took the time to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. It only ended up taking them one day to paint the ceiling, crown, and prime the walls. They were even able to re-patch some poorly worked holes in the wall, and made sure the walls ended up smooth. I can't recommend them enough!”

“Huntsville Painting did an amazing job painting our bedroom walls and ceiling. Mason is great to work with—he communicates well and was straightforward with his pricing. “Best painting company we have ever had. They did a fantastic job. Great people.”

“Mason is a dream of a contractor‼️He listens well, double checks before the paint is applied …his crews are on time and work efficiently. And the quality of workmanship is superb…they spackled and touched up several places besides painting most of our upstairs walls…where they repaired, I couldn’t even tell that a hole had been patched and painted. 😎✨ Definitely will rely on Mason and his crews for my future painting needs …and we plan to repaint the entire interior of our home 😲👊”

“We hired Huntsville Painting for a master bath project, then hired them to come back several months later for complete Exterior Painting. This company is dependable and very good at what they do! Mason and his crew are great to work with!”

“Excellent experience with Mason Robinson and his Huntsville Painting crew! Outstanding communication and quality work, make this business stand out above all. I really appreciated the time Mason took to communicate with me, from confirming a date and time to give me a work estimate, to scheduling the job, to confirming when workers would arrive and depart (this is huge in the construction industry!), to following up to make sure I was 100% happy with the job. Mason and his company were a joy to work with and I would hire him again!”

“Mason and his crew did an excellent job in an efficient timeframe and came back when one little part didn’t get painted, partly because of miscommunication on my part. Team is professional and pricing is competitive. My wife and I highly recommend Huntsville Painting.”
