“Shawn and his team did an incredible job from start to finish. We had a 1950s detached garage with rotting wood around the perimeter. When we called ARS Contracting, they were prompt with a response, came out within a few days, and had an estimate to us very quickly. Shawn was our contact and he made sure that we knew the process and what was going to happen next in each step of the way. Once the project started, we were amazed at how quickly his team was able to complete the work. And let me tell you, the end result is absolutely beyond what we thought it would be. Last night, we sat outside and admired the work they did because it looks like a completely new garage. They installed a new door, a new window, and all new lighting around the perimeter of the garage and not only did they do that, they did it with a smile on their face! “We contracted with ARS to complete the extension of our patio after receiving several bids. Although their bid was on the higher side, we were impressed by their professionalism during the quoting process and decided to move forward with them. There were two projects we signed up for: one was to extend a large part of our patio with concrete, and the other was to add a door to our fence. The patio turned out great—it's even and solid. However, we did encounter some issues with the fence door, which we believe were due to the contractor’s lack of experience. It seemed there was an inability to foresee potential problems until it was too late to address them. While there were some bumps in the process, ARS did make an effort to correct the situation. Their honesty was clear throughout the process, and while we weren't entirely satisfied with the lack of experience shown by the contractor, it seemed that our project may have been his first. “Brenden came out looked at the roof issue we were having. We had a section of shingles that were starting to slide down the roof. It took a couple days for them to get us on the schedule and it had actually gotten a little worse. Brenden had told me the company that had installed the roof originally should warranty it for us. But the roof was done prior to us buying the house and we didn’t know who they were so here we are. He came off as honest and trustworthy. From start to finish the work and the people were very professional. The repairs were done quickly and look amazing. Can’t tell where the work was ever done. Brenden and his team were awesome. If the need for a new roof ever arises ARS General will be the first and only call I’ll be making. They have gained a customer for life. “We recently had ARS General Contracting install new wall siding around our entire detached garage and workshop. From the start and throughout the crew was impeccable, tidy, and in total communication. Shawn and the crew did an amazing job, not only in the execution and the fresh paint to the new exterior walls, trim, etc, but also took the extra time to trim out and secure the perimeter at the base to ensure no critters will be getting in. They installed the new window and new door perfectly as well. We also had them add new protective barriers on the louvered side walls of our attic in the main house. “Signed a contract with ARS in August 2025. Works has not been completed and we have essentially fired them. Here's a summary of problems: 1. Knowingly started work without permits or inspection and they were confronted by the city; this resulted in multi-weeks delay 2. Failed to properly pay contractors for work performed resulting in poor workmanship, a threat from one contractor to file a mechanics lean, and a revolving door of contractors 3. Failure to perform electrical work per code. I had to do my own research to identify failure to install required GFIC kitchen outlets and an attempt to run cable within the foundation without a conduit jacket. I had to look this information up on line to identify the non-compliance. 4. Failure to notify me that a window they installed was completed by a third party and voided the warranty. I had the window removed and replaced at my cost after calling the manufacturer and questioning their quality control. 5. Recent electrical work was likely also not performed by a licensed electrician. Electrical boxes have been left exposed. Still trying to confirm if the permit was updated. 6. I have a pantry door installed backwards . 7. I have a back d”
