Groovy Hues Painting of McKinney

Groovy Hues Painting of McKinney handles painting work across the Wylie area and other Texas spots. The outfit covers interior painting, exterior painting, commercial painting, cabinets, decks and fences plus power washing on both homes and businesses. Reviewers point to Matthew and Savannah as key contacts who line up the jobs and keep things moving from start to finish.

Homeowners call them in for brick walls that need a fresh color to match a pool setting, full interior wall jobs ahead of a sale, exterior surfaces that need attention, and power washing on patios and driveways. One job involved careful protection of nearby areas during the brick work so nothing got damaged. Another time the crew swapped a painting plan for power washing after checking the surface, which cut costs and got the yard ready for buyers. Teams led by Luis and Matt handled the actual work, with attention paid to final checks so the results held up.

Communication stays quick on bids and questions, with responses often coming the same day or within a couple days after a site visit. Pricing comes in competitive on most projects though a couple estimates landed higher than other bids received. The crew works efficiently on scheduling and color choices, and they show flexibility when timelines stretch a bit. Service stays local to the area with crews that show up prepared and finish without cutting corners.

The Google rating sits at 4.9 from 46 reviews. People keep mentioning solid quality on painting and power washing jobs, fast replies from Savannah and Russell, and crews that treat the property with care. Minor notes on delays or pricing appear but most feedback highlights dependable results and staff that follow through.

“We are very happy we chose Groovy Hues to paint over our red brick wall to a more attractive color in contrast to our pool. This was not an easy job, but the painter worked very hard to protect surrounding surfaces and ensure everything was done right. They absolutely exceed our expectations at an affordable expense.”

“Thank you Groovy Hues, loving my new walls! My realtor recommended this team & I’m so happy because they were all great, just a pleasure to work with! Savannah was quick with responding to my questions & concerns. Russell’s care & attention to detail during the final inspections ensured the job was thoroughly completed to my satisfaction. I can’t recommend them enough and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again. Thank you all - Luis, Kirk, Savannah & Russell!”

“Loved working with Savannah at Groovy Hues! I contacted her to get some exterior painting done. After assessing, she recommended power washing instead which saved me money! She also helped power wash my patio and now my yard looks sparkly clean! We are about to put our house up for sale and Savannah and her team have made my property market ready and more appealing to buyers! Thanks Groovy Hues!!”

“Groovy Hues team was extremely responsive to getting me a super competitive bid in a very timely manner. They came out to review my project and turned around a bid in a matter of days. We haven’t yet scheduled the work yet, but based on my experience so far I would highly recommend you consider them for your next project.”

“What a great experience! I saw a Groovy Hues Instagram ad and decided to give them a try - these guys are phenomenal! Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was handled efficiently - from scheduling to color selection to the actual painting, I could not be more pleased. Highly recommend.”

“Great Team with Minor Delays - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I want to extend my sincere appreciation to Savannah for her prompt responses, Russell for efficiently managing our inquiries, and a massive massive shout-out to Luis and his skilled team. Luis, in particular, is our favorite soul he demonstrated exceptional skill and attentiveness, ensuring all the work was completed to our satisfaction. I am more than pleased with their service and wouldn't hesitate to call them again(Luis especially). The flexibility they showed was commendable, even though the timeline stretched a bit longer than expected. Despite this, I had an overall more than average experience and would certainly recommend them to friends. Thank you all - Luis, Savannah, and Russell - for a job well done!”

“My only regret is that Google only let me highlight one positive of the visit. Groovy Hues was one of the most professional companies that we have ever worked with. As a new homeowner, it’s been hard to find dependable people to get things done— I’d recommend Groovy Hues to ANYBODY.”

“I recently had the pleasure of engaging with Russell at Groovy Hues, and I must say that my experience exceeded all expectations. Russell's exceptional knowledge, professionalism, and amiable nature made my interaction with the Groovy Hues a true delight.”

“Matt and his team did an amazing job of power washing our driveway. All aspects of the work to be done was transparent, professional and above expectations. We will be using Matt and his team for future projects!”

“Rep came out to my home on Sept 14th. Said he would have a quote ready by the end of the day for my Primary Bedroom & bath, then he left. Have not heard from him or anyone at Groovy Hues by text or email since he left. It is now Sept 21st and never received a quote? Not too sure on how to rate them?”

“Matthew and his team are professional, quick to respond, and go the extra mile. Will absolutely work with Groovy Hues going forward!”

“I really, really liked & actually enjoying Russell’s visit to review my painting project; HOWEVER, the estimate was about $3K higher than the other 2 that I received.”

“Excellence embodied in a Company. Good quality, no rip-offs and no corner cutting. Super friendly and professional staff, would recommend over a lot of other contractors!!”
