Mosquito Joe of Abilene

Mosquito Joe of Abilene handles pest control work in Abilene, Texas. The company is locally owned and operated with support from urban entomologists. It covers mosquito control plus exterior pest control and eco-friendly options for residential and commercial properties. Services include flea treatment for yards, tick yard treatment, fire ant control, fly control, stinging insect treatment, mosquito misting systems, and barrier sprays. The business also serves Brownwood and San Angelo.

Customers describe problems with mosquitoes near water and after heavy rains that prevent outdoor time. Technicians apply three-week sprays that reduce mosquitoes to almost nonexistent levels around homes. Cole Watts and other technicians treat front and back areas with focus on sitting spots and standing water. After applications people report walking properties and gardens freely, sitting on porches, and letting children play outside without bites. One account notes four years of use that allows regular outdoor enjoyment where mosquitoes once made it impossible.

Technicians arrive when scheduled and complete work quickly and courteously. Response times are described as timely with easy scheduling. Service reaches Abilene and the nearby cities already noted. Pricing comes up as not inexpensive yet effective for the results. The company states no contracts and provides free estimates. Most reviewers note helpful staff, though one customer reported no callback after concerns about a formula change that reduced effectiveness.

Reviewers give the business a Google rating of 4.8. Common topics include mosquito control, courteous staff, effectiveness, and outdoor living during summer months.

“So glad we have this service. We live around water & mosquitoes are almost nonexistent, due to our 3-week sprays. Staff a,ways helpful & our exterminator is the best!”

“The guy did a wonderful job , he got the front and back with special attention to the sitting areas, he carried stuff with him and put it in any standing water he saw , He did a very thorough job thank you.”

“It’s like magic, it just works! After all the rains we have been having I couldn’t even step outside without being bombarded by large mosquitoes. Called for service and bought a boom bought a bing, I am able to walk around my property and garden freely!”

“Mosquito Joe certainly has certainly been effective at reducing our mosquito problem. They don't completely eradicate every mosquito, but because of them we are able to enjoy our back porch. They come when they say they'll come and they are quick and courteous in their work. Their service is not inexpensive, but it is effective.”

“I love Mosquito Joe of Abilene. Mosquitoes torment me when I'm outside. When Mosquito Joe comes and uses their barrier spray, I can enjoy being outside again. Update-I am no longer using Mosquito Joes. In the middle of the summer, last year, I began to notice that I was once again being attacked by mosquitoes, even after they applied the barrier. When I called about my concerns, I was told they would look into it. I never received a returned call, but later, I was told by one of their technicians that they had changed the formula. Apparently, the new formula is not affective.”

“Great customer service & got to me in a timely manner. Everyone was super easy to work with, and I am pleased with their service. I will be a return customer for years to come!”

“I have been using Mosquito Joe for over four years now with outstanding results. Without their service I absolutely could not be able to sit outside because the mosquitoes would eat me alive. Very happy!”

“Since mosquito season started, I thought my tombstone would read something along the lines of "roses are red, violets are blue, she died from a mosquito apocalypse ". I was so miserable because it would take less than a minute of being outside before I was attacked by swarms of mosquitoes 🦟. Going outside was impossible. After trying to fix the problem myself, I gave up. I called Mosquito Joe to professionally treat my yard. I can finally sit outside and enjoy it. No more looking like I'm losing a fight to an invisible foe. I don't have to spray myself down with chemicals. I'm FREE! The swarms are gone! It was worth every penny! I'm at peace. #MosquitoJoe”
