Hamann Lawn Care & Weed Control - Pest & Mosquito Control

Hamann Lawn Care & Weed Control provides pest control along with lawn care and weed control services in Arlington, Texas. The family-owned operation has served the area and all of North Texas since 2006 with treatments that cover fertilization, mosquito control, and flea and tick control. Kurtis handles the on-site work for most properties and applies the programs that target local soil and pest conditions.

Customers describe results from weed control that cleared broadleaf and grassy growth where prior services had failed, along with fertilization that produced thicker turf even late in the season. Tree treatments resolved struggling conditions and restored health in several cases. Mosquito applications reduced swarms around pools and yards, while separate work eliminated fungus, root rot, and beetles that had left patches of dirt and dead grass. Lawns that started with heavy weed cover or missing sections ended up weed-free and green after ongoing visits.

Reviewers mention quick replies to texts about schedules and products used, plus advance notice before monthly treatments. They note reasonable pricing for the service level and the option to pay online. The coverage stays within Arlington and nearby North Texas locations, with the same technician returning to keep track of each yard's needs.

The business shows a 4.7 rating from 229 reviews. Recurring comments highlight yards that improved markedly in color and density, fewer weeds overall, and clear explanations from Kurtis on what each step addresses.

“We've had an outstanding experience with Hamann Weed Control. They treated several of our trees that were struggling, and the results were remarkable. Thanks to their expertise, our trees recovered and are now healthy and thriving. We also signed up for their ongoing mosquito treatment service, and it has made an incredible difference. Before, spending time by the pool often meant constantly dealing with mosquitoes. Now they're virtually gone, and we can actually enjoy our backyard without being swarmed. The team is professional, knowledgeable, reliable, and very communicative. It's refreshing to work with a company that consistently delivers on its promises. I highly recommend Hamann Weed Control to anyone looking for expert tree care or effective mosquito control. They have made a noticeable difference in the health of our yard and the quality of our outdoor living.”

“We used another weed control company in the past but weren’t seeing any results so I met Kurtis through my next door neighbor and ever since he started treating our lawn it’s looked incredible. Trusting in his service, we started using biscuits pest control and mosquito treatment as well. Highly recommend Hamann’s services!”

“We have used this service for over a year now and the results have been great. Our yard is weed free since starting treatments. Great experience.”

“Excellent service. Kurtis is very helpful and fantastic to talk too and does a very thorough job. I take pride in how my yard looks and he has made my job easier. I struggled with getting rid of fungus 2 years ago but it’s gone now thanks to his service.”

“Love this company. Kurtis does an amazing job and has worked magic in my yard. Wish we had started using him earlier. He delivers everytime. Now I don't have to guess what and when my lawn needs something. If I could I would give him att least 10 stars”

“I started using Hamann this year after some dissapointing results from a different company. I can't tell you enough how great the results were for my yard. It's thick and green with almost no weeds. After using other companies and then using Hamann, it's no comparison. Even this late in the year my grass is the only yard in my neighborhood to be very green. I can't recommend enough their services.”

“I am very impressed with this lawn care service. They do an great job. I had so many weeds and problems with my lawn before I joined. I had other lawn care companies previously that did not help my lawn look any better. Even the guy that mows my lawn, asked me who I was using because he said my lawn was looking so good. Most of my problems with my lawn have disappeared. I still am lacking some grass on a small portion of my back yard, but I guess I just need sod for that part. Kurtis is really awesome and I would not hesitate to recommend this company.”

“I was looking for a yard service and came across Hamann and I can't be more pleased with their service. From communication on what is being put on my lawn, to informing me when they are coming for monthly treatment, to a beautiful yard! I highly recommend them!”

“I have been working with Hammond weed control for about three years and I have been nothing but pleased each year. Kurtis responds whenever I reach out and has helped me with any questions I've ever had .....not to mention my lawn is beautiful. I have referred my neighbor and she has started receiving his services”

“Our front yard now looks great! Now, if we could only get all my neighbors to use them.🫤 What a beautiful neighborhood it would be. We are very pleased with Hamann .”

“Great company to do business with. I can text if I have any questions and Hamann responds quickly. I also like that you pay online. My yard looks great!”

“Kurtis takes great care of my yard. The difference since he started is obvious”

“I've been using Hamann's services for about 2 years now. My neighbor liked the results enough both of our yards get serviced together now. I've had nothing but good experiences with their team. They are always very responsive and keep me up to date with when they are treating my yard. And I think their prices are reasonable. Good services with a good value. Can't ask for much more!”

“Hamann Weed Control has been amazing. I have found them to be very responsive, capable and the service they provide actually works. I have always done my own weed control, mowing and landscaping. I am not an expert but have had success over the years with my home. After moving a couple of years ago to a new house with an awful landscape situation, I chose to get some help. From the first treatment I noticed positive results. After almost a season now of their service and my maintenance ,my yard is one of the best on the block. I would absolutely recommend them .”

“Been with this company for a while. They are great. Our yard always looks good and if I have any kind of problem they know how to treat it. They very knowledgeable with any grass or weed problems and take care of it. Very reasonable prices also.”

“Kurtis from Hamann has been an excellent lawn care provider. his team has done a fantastic job with reasonable price.”

“My street had a contagious strain of root rot and beetles that were killing trees. I pride myself in having a pretty yard, but the root rot turned my side yard into nothing but dirt, and patches of grass were missing from my front yard. Kurtis came out with a fair price to treat my yard on an ongoing basis. We couldn’t save the trees, as the damage was done, but he got rid of the beetles and my grass came back pretty quickly! My yard is pretty again! He is professional, personable, and thorough. I personally recommend Hamman services for your lawn care needs.”

“My yard was a mess!! I had given up on it and did not want to be seen in it while mowing. Then, we had a new neighbor move in next door who had been using Hamann at their previous home and started using Hamann at their new home next door. Boy, was I impressed by Hamann. In no time at all, their yard was looking fantastic. I called the number on the little sign that Hamann leaves in the yard after a treatment and got my service started. Now, my yard looks and feels great. It is a pleasure to sit down in or walk through. Now, I am very happy to be seen working in the yard. Next on the list is replacing some shrubs that froze a couple of winters ago.”
