About

Dr. Green Services runs lawn care and pest control work from Carrollton, Texas. The company lists treatments for mosquitoes, fire ants, exterior pests, weeds, fertilizer application, aeration, grub control, and related yard issues through its service plans. Staff mentioned in customer accounts include Brian for initial signup and scheduling, Shana for customer questions, and Jesus for on-site lawn visits. The address on file is 3333 Earhart Dr Suite 200 in Carrollton.

Customers have described weed control visits that left weeds in place after multiple rounds, fire ant jobs that arrived days after a requested deadline, and mosquito applications that cut down on sightings for some yards. Several accounts note technicians spending only a few minutes on site and missing sections of the property, with requests for follow-up work taking weeks to schedule or getting counted as the next regular treatment. Positive notes mention Brian handling setup questions on fertilizer and weed plans, and one account credits Jesus with visible lawn improvement after a season of service.

Reviewers report quick text replies from Brian when signing up and first treatments booked within a day or two. They mention promises of free retreatment if problems return and season prices lower than prior providers, yet also describe charges processed after cancellation requests, bills for months with no visit, and slow or no replies once service starts. Work covers the Carrollton area on a four-to-six-week cycle according to some accounts, with customers advised to call for any extra needs.

Google shows a 4.5 rating tied to zero reviews. Customer accounts repeatedly mention weak results on weeds and pests, rushed applications, and disputes over payments for canceled or incomplete work, while a smaller set of notes praise the sales process with Brian and Shana.

What Customers Say

“I decided to go with Dr. Green because of a flyer I got in the mail. They came out and did 1 treatment. I’m not even sure what they treated for- the condition of the yard didn’t change after the treatment. I had sod installed shortly afterwards and called to ask to pause my service. After which they took another payment. A payment from my card for a service they did not do. I asked them multiple times to refund the amount and they never did. I was in contact with a representative until I asked for the refund and then never heard from them again. I hope the $48 was worth the bad review. I was nothing but nice to them and only wanted what was fair and what was owed to me.”

Jeffery Cornett

“This review is for the sales team. Brian was very responsive to my queries and we arrived at an agreement quickly. His ability to understand the requirements and provide reasonable quote resulted in my signing up for the service all in just a day(yesterday). I see they already have scheduled the first treatment for tomorrow!!. I shall update my review on the efficacy of the treatment after a few treatments.”

“If you are looking for lawn care I advise looking elsewhere. I have been extremely disappointed with this company. Techs that come come out don’t do a good job and only hit parts of the yard and are in and out is 15 mins. They don’t even bother letting you know they are done or anything just leave. They say if you see anything call them and they will come back but they don’t. It takes weeks for them to come and they just consider that your next treatment. I paid in full for the fire ant treatment and told them 2 months in advance that I wanted it completely before I had a graduation party, they assured me they would but they did not. They showed up 3 days after our party and it was a joke. The tech came to do the treatment and just walked around for five mins free a couple handfuls on the ground and left ( I have him on camera doing this). When I called and asked why they did not treat my whole yard she said they only focus on the mounds. I express to her that he did not hit one mound and I had him on camera just throwing handful she had no response other than we can put you back on the list. That was 2 weeks ago and still nothing. This company has terrible service especially if yo”

“I want to recognize Brian, he provided outstanding customer service discussing our landscaping needs. From the initial outreach, the communication was clear, responsive, and professional. Overall, the experience was seamless, efficient, and professionally handled. I would confidently recommend their services to anyone looking for reliable and well-managed!”

“I'm extremely dissatisfied with Dr. Green's services. Despite multiple applications and follow-ups, I've seen zero improvement in my lawn's condition. They treated my lawn twice more, but the results were nonexistent. I feel like I've wasted my money, aside from the constant follow-up calls and instructions. The technicians rush through the treatments, often spending only 5 minutes on the job, and it's clear they're not thoroughly addressing the issues. I've had to constantly supervise and direct them on which areas need attention. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Green to anyone.”

“Great on-boarding process and Brian was very helpful in getting me onboarded. He was thorough, helpful and on top of everything. He answered all my questions, and put all my doubts to rest. Will update review when the service actually starts. So far great experience, and I am excited to use Dr Green services.”

“Very professional interactions with Brian, with timely responses to provide me the info I needed about starting new services. I was a 10 year customer with my previous lawncare provider but became unhappy after I was charged for multiple retreatment trip charges last season that I didn't request. I'm confident that Dr. Green services will not do that because they will retreat for free if it is ever needed. Plus Dr. Green's season price is lower! When I had trouble receiving emails from them, Brian took care of it for me! Thank you!”

“"I was a Dr. Green Services customer for three years with consistently disappointing results. My yard continued to get worse every year so I wanted a supervisor to walk the yard with me and give tips on why my yard was the worst int he neighborhood. Although it was promised, the supervisor walkthrough never happened despite multiple follow-ups. Before I cancelled, two representatives promised a refund exceeding $500. After I cancelled, they told me I would receive $0 as all services had been used. Only after months of back and forth negotiation and having to analyze my own invoices was I offered $250. I also discovered that services marketed as free were being billed as charges upon cancellation without any prior disclosure. I would not recommend this company."”

“Brian at DrGreen Services has very good negotiation techniques in selling and pricing. He has helped me very throughly all of my questions about fertilizer and weed control on my home landscape. With his assistance I would be able to make the decision to get my landscaping services from DrGreen Services. I would recommend this company for your landscaping.”

“This is my second year w Dr Green! I also added the mosquito service this year. I am loving NOT having to watch for those suckers! Their service has been great and my lawn looks better than ever! Thanks Jesus!”

“⭐ One Star – Unethical Billing Practices & Terrible Communication I strongly discourage anyone from doing business with Dr. Green. Before my scheduled service in February, I immediately notified the company that I would not be home to open my backyard gate or secure my dogs. After the technician texted that he was on his way, I responded asking that the service not be performed. Dr. Green confirmed the appointment would be rescheduled. Despite that confirmation, they ignored my request, treated my front yard anyway, and are now demanding over $53 for a service I explicitly canceled. My husband and I made multiple attempts to resolve the issue, but instead of taking responsibility for their communication failure, they continued to pursue payment and have now sent a demand letter. We canceled our service because the communication, customer service, and accountability were unacceptable. A company that confirms a cancellation, performs the service anyway, and then bills the customer is not acting in good faith. There are plenty of lawn care companies that value their customers. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.”

“Dr. Green was highly recommended to me by my neighbor. I worked with Dr. Green’s Brian to sign up. Brian is very knowledgeable, he replied very quickly to my many texts, and he made the process of signing up for service very easy. Great customer service!”

“This company is worthless. They haven't been able to get rid of basic weeds in my lawn in 10 months. And its customer service is awful. DO NOT pay for the service in advance, as they will not refund you when you cancel, and you will cancel, and they will still charge you for the next year if you don't call back again to cancel at the end of December. What a joke! This is the type of BS that companies do that know they provide subpar service! I encourage you to choose another company.”

“Extremely unhappy with the service. I asked for weed control, but I still have weeds all over my property. They completely missed our service for 60 days without providing any treatment, yet I was still billed for those two months. When I called to check, I was told the service operates on a 4-to-6-week schedule—but the numbers just don't add up. When I asked to cancel the service and requested a refund, I was told I had to pay another $200. I never asked for free service, but this feels like a scam. Before hiring them, I explicitly told them I would only continue with an annual plan if the weed control actually worked. There are several other reviews just like mine. If you want to pay a company for a year without expecting them to actually show up, then this is the company for you. Bad service and terrible customer service. This is exactly how business should not be done.”

“I had an excellent experience with Shana at Dr. Green Services. From start to finish, she provided outstanding customer service and was professional, friendly, and attentive to my needs. Her positive attitude and dedication to helping customers truly stand out. It's rare to find someone who goes above and beyond the way Shana does. Thank you for making the experience so easy and pleasant”

“I have tried to reach Dr. Green Services multiple times through phone (left voicemail), customer service, and email, but I haven't received any response from the supervisor or manager. Due to the lack of response, I feel compelled to share my feedback here. Having been with them for over four years, I find my yard has not Having been with them for over four years, I find that my yard has not improved; in fact, it has worsened. I am dealing with dandelions, dallisgrass, crowfootgrass, flatweed, bluegrass, and other weeds. I have attached a picture of my yard next to my neighbor's yard, and he uses a compactor... can you guess which one is my yard? I have paid for fire ant treatment but continue to get bitten year after year, and despite paying for mosquito treatment, there has been no improvement in the frequency of bites I receive. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Not only is the customer service poor and non-responsive, but the treatment is also ineffective and a waste of money.”

Grant Visser

“After 7 years with a competitor, my yard was a mess of weeds and dallisgrass. Brian created a plan to target my specific issues. He took the time to answer all my questions and gave me realistic expectations and a very competitive bid that fits my budget. I am looking forward to restoring my once beautiful lawn to it’s potential.”

“Very disappointed. I took lawn care and service is not satisfactory. they don't take care of weeds beside your garden beds. The spray fell on my plants and the technician doesn't care After multiple requests I got the second service. There is no feedback or next schedule intimation. I was disappointed with Brian as he stayed in touch till I took the package and didn't care after that. I don't recommend it.”

“I took lawn service through Brian and paid full year. Never pay in full with Dr Green. they stop responding to your requests and calls. They advertise 4 additional services but do single spray and say it covers everything. I think 4 additional free treatments are just to get people buy service. No use in them. And they send people who unprofessional. Dont take this service if you have vegetable garden. They just spray with wind and wish it does not kill your plants. One more thing, when you call for re-service they schedule it and person just leaves without even getting off vehicle and we get email that service is done. Their product is mediocre at best. i see patches on my lawn and weeds still growing at few places. KEEP away from them”

Gunukula Srikanth

“The weed control is minimal to non-existent. I have the ability to spray weeds, but I don’t want to. That is why I hired a company to do it for me. I irrigate and mow regularly, so thats not that issue. The mosquito control seems to be pretty good.”
