“I’ve been with Moxie since 2021, I spent just under $2300 annually with them for pest, mosquito and lawn care. Initially the service was great, then over the years the quality of work steadily declined, with this year being the worst. I will note that the service techs have always been extremely kind and respectful. Over the years the price of service has gradually increased with the length of time spent on my property decreasing. Eventually I started tracking how long the techs were onsite for each service. Most of the time it was between 7-10 minutes, which just isn’t enough time to properly do the service in my opinion. This year my lawn has looked the worst, plus with weeds, since we built the house in 2020 despite watering for 4hrs 3 times a week. I’ve requested to speak to an area manager twice yet no one has contacted me so just called and canceled every service.”

“There are a lot of pest control options in the Dallas area but I switched to moxie a few years ago when I spoke to an associate about their ability to do insect control without killing the bees in my yard. This year I have had two techs come out: Angela (most recent) & Deztinee (previous treatment). I have to say I have been beyond pleased with the quality of their work and also their friendliness. It can sometimes feel a little intimidating being a woman home alone and having a man you don’t know come to your door (haven’t had issues with moxie, just other experiences). Moxie hiring and sending out more female techs has been a huge plus for me and I think I just got lucky that those techs also happened to be very kind and efficient humans. I have never had an issue scheduling or rescheduling when needed, and the manager of the area was very helpful in answering all my questions regarding the safety of my pets & timetable in when they could go into the yard. For my experiences just this year alone, I can honestly say I would recommend moxie to my friends in the area & my neighbors! (Now give everyone in this review that bonus cash, Moxie corporate! “Don’t have this service but will likely never use after a field rep clearly ignored a posted “no soliciting sign” and knocked on our door persistently after we intentionally did not answer, and kept pushing after my husband said “no soliciting” no fewer than 5 times before he moved along on his Segway. Attempting to solicit a home with a posted No Soliciting sign is illegal and it will be reported. The name given was Robert and he says he “manages Moxie”. I hate to write reviews like this but it’s really not that hard to respect people’s homes. It got my dog rilled up in the middle of our workday and was a true disturbance.”

“The service is horrible. I called because my neighbors are cleaning out the home that has not been loved in for over a year. I saw a mice INSIDE of my home. They came out stating they treated the outside for rodents and bugs. I sat on the porch and bees, wasp, spiders and mosquitoes are still present. Not to mention I saw the mice today. I immediately called after treatment on Sunday to ask why the interior was not treated and I was told I had to ask for the service and someone will be out on Friday which the day I was speaking with them was on Sunday. If I would have known I was going to receive poor service could have waited until today and let White Knight come in and complete the service. When I called today I was told I will be contacted with 48 hours. I need a refund and a plan cancellation this is ridiculous.”

“I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with this pest control company and would not recommend them based on how my situation has been handled. The salesperson, Wyatt, made several claims and promises regarding the contract, pricing, and service that, in my experience, were not honored as represented. After the initial service, I discovered issues with what I had been told and repeatedly tried to contact Wyatt to get them resolved. Unfortunately, communication became extremely frustrating. My texts were ignored or met with repeated excuses and assurances that the issues would be resolved soon. I was also given personal reasons for the delays, including a family emergency and a death in the family. I was understanding and gave additional time, but more than a month later, my concerns still have not been resolved. My biggest issue is not simply that a problem occurred—it is the lack of follow-through after the sale. When you make promises to a customer regarding pricing, a contract, or service, those promises should be honored, or the issue should be addressed promptly when the customer raises concerns.
