Ballard's Professional Pest Control

Ballard's Professional Pest Control handles pest extermination and control along with termite inspections and solutions from its base in Humble, Texas. The company was established in 1985 and operates under TPCL 6075. Larry and Donna run the business with their son, and customers reach them through area-specific lines such as 281-358-BUGS for Kingwood and Humble or 281-443-BUGS for the Woodlands, Conroe, Coldspring and Cleveland zones.

Reviewers describe termite inspections that locate active damage at slabs and door frames during real estate transactions, along with full treatments that protect structures without overselling. Technicians such as Greg perform inside and outside inspections, mix and apply chemicals carefully to avoid damage or tracking, and resolve issues with tree roaches in bathrooms. Ron assessed crawl spaces, garages and attics for rodents, sealed entry points and cleaned up afterward. Other calls brought quick removal of a possum from an office within an hour.

The company answers phones directly with real people rather than automated systems and schedules appointments promptly across the greater Houston area. Customers note reasonable pricing without required contracts, same-day or next-day response for urgent needs, and continued service even when a move took a property slightly outside the main zone. Technicians arrive on time, explain steps clearly and follow up with prevention tips.

Many customers have stayed with the company for fifteen to thirty years and highlight consistent reliability plus honest reporting on inspections. Google shows a 4.6 rating from 83 reviews while recurring comments focus on thorough work, fair costs and long-term results. DIRT Score 4.2 from reviews on Finds.

“Greg does a GREAT JOB! He 1st asks if I have any problem areas I’m concerned with. He then does a very thorough inside and out inspection. He then mixes his chemicals and Very Thoroughly & COMPLETELY applies the chemicals inside and outside being very careful and considerate about not causing damage or tracking in dirt! He has eliminated our pest issues AND keeps them from from returning! He’s AMAZING & Ballards is a SUPERIOR PEST CONTROL COMPANY👍”

“Called Ballard's for a Texas Official WDI report on a home we're under contract on, and they came through fast and did it right. Larry Ballard inspected the property himself, found active termite activity at the front slab and door frame, and was upfront that the builder's treated lumber at the base of the walls had actually kept most of the structure protected didn't oversell the problem or the price! Treatment quote was straightforward, and the report itself was thorough: diagram, clear notes on where the activity was, honest about what areas were inaccessible for inspection. Exactly what you want from a WDI inspector on a real estate home your family will live in you dont want surprises or fluff, just a straight forward answers. Would use them again.”

“We have been using Ballards for many many years for our home and some rental homes. They do an outstanding job at a reasonable and fair price. We think that Ballards is the best!”

“We've been with Ballard for the past 15 years! When we moved to TX I said NO NO NO to the bugs and they do a great job keeping them GONE! Donna and Greg are wonderful and I would never think of using anyone or any other company!!”

“These guys used to be pretty good, not sure what's happened. We had great difficulty just setting up an appointment as no one would answer the phone, we tried numerous times over several weeks. When we did manage to get an appointment, the guy was on time and nice, but very quick. Sure enough, the treatment was totally infective, and we have even more bugs. Called them again to see about a re-spray and they said they would call back. That was over a week ago, maybe two weeks. Sorry, but for Kingwood, they are not recommended.”

“Ballards is wonderful to work with! Quick service and great prices.”

“We had a possum get into our office, and decided to camp out there. I called my go-to pest control company, and Ballard's had their animal removal specialist there within an hour. Soon after, the possum was gone, we lost very little work time, thanks to great response and service by Ballards. I have trusted Ballards Pest Control for all my business and personal pest control needs for almost 20 years, they are absolutely the best !!”

“Ballard's performed my home inspection and caught issues I never would have seen, and that the existing pest control company missed. In addition to highly detailed service, this is the first pest control company I have used with reasonable prices! Thanks for honest and affordable service!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had such a great experience with Ballards Professional pest control! From the first phone call to the actual service, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. They took the time to explain the process and answered all of my questions, which made me feel confident and comfortable. The technician arrived on time, worked efficiently, and was very respectful of my home. I noticed a difference almost immediately, and it’s been such a relief to know the issue is under control. I also appreciate the follow-up and tips they gave me to help prevent future problems. It’s rare these days to find a company that truly cares about their customers, but Ballards Professional pest control goes above and beyond. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable pest control!”

“I have been a customer of Ballard's Professional Pest Control for several years now, and I plan to continue using their services for many more. They are consistently trustworthy, reliable, and professional. Recently, I needed a quick turnaround for a pest control project, and they delivered without hesitation. Their prompt response and effective service exceeded my expectations.”

“Greg was very friendly and professional and took care of the tree roaches that had invaded our bathrooms. I highly recommend Ballard’s Professional Pest Control. Call today!”

“This has been the exterminating company I’ve worked with for over 30 years. There are other good companies in the community but this is the one I recommend first. To work directly with the owners, Larry and Donna and their son it is not like most businesses today when you have to press a button to get to customer service or just talk to a computer to get prerecorded answers, it’s like “hometown service.” When you call Ballard’s Exterminating, you will always get a real person and they will make it as easy as possible to accommodate you and your client. They’re a great company for many years. But the same service always.”

“We have been using Ballard's for over 20 years. They have great service, from the office staff to the technicians and we have never had a problem with pests or critters since we've been using Ballard's. And if you are buying or selling a home, Larry Ballard, licensed termite inspector and licensed realtor, is the best for doing your Wood Destroying Insect Inspection. He has a reputation as the "Bug Whisperer". If you have any problems or potential problems, he will find them. We highly recommend them for all your pest, critter or home inspection needs. B. Johnson”

“We had Ballard's Pest control do our termite inspection on our new home that we purchased earlier this year. They were thorough and polite. The gentleman who did our report went over it with us and make sure we understood everything. He even laughed at my husband's corny termite joke. We were so impressed by the way we were treated that we chose Ballard's to be our pest company. They take good care of our home and keep us bug free. Major kudos to them for responding to my call about the black widow spider that had taken up residence in my garage. My toddler is fascinated by spiders and I am terrified of spiders. I was afraid that he would try and play with it. Ballard's sent a guy out the next morning to treat my house for pests and remove the lovely spider. If you ever need a good pest company, I would definitely recommend Ballard's Pest Control.”

“Ballard’s has provided very professional extermination services at my current home. I bought a new home about 45 minutes away and out of their general service area. Ballard’s went out of their way to continue provide me with superior customer service. Ballard’s is absolutely the best! Check them out for all of our extermination needs!”

“Just wanted to add they are still doing a fantastic job, if you are needing any pets control services give them a call, you won't be disappointed ☺️ This is a great company to do service with, every time we call they schedule us right away, they are very respectful and professional. Their Technicians are well trained and take the time to listen to all of our concerns. We really enjoy doing business with Ballards and will only call them for both our home and office buildings pest needs. Great job Ballards !!!”

“Ballard's pest control did a great job addressing the rodent issue I had. I had Ron who was very professional and attentive. Ron did a complete assessment of the house, crawl space and garage and took care of all access points. Ron moved the appliances as well and found problem areas. Ron cleaned up very well afterwards and I was very satisfied with the work. I feel much more at peace that I won't have any rodents gaining access. Ron was a great man helping filling up the holes I had in my attic where rodents would get through and stay. 10/10 would recommend this service in the Greater Houston area.”
