Texans Rodent Removal
Pest Control Technician · Humble, TX
About
Texans Rodent Removal runs pest control work out of Humble, Texas. Kenneth Hendricks leads the crew and they handle rats, mice, squirrels, opossums, raccoons, skunks and bats inside Houston area homes. The crew traps the animals, removes them from attics, walls and ceilings, then locates entry points and seals them with metal panels. They also clean up droppings and disinfect the spaces after the animals are gone.
Customers report raccoons in attics, squirrels making noise overhead and rats getting into kitchens or garages. Kenneth and his helpers set traps that catch the animals, patch roof holes where raccoons entered, and seal multiple openings with metal so nothing returns. Several jobs took a week or more of follow-up visits to clear out squirrels and raccoons, with extra trips to check traps or confirm the space stayed quiet.
The crew often arrives the same day or within a couple hours of a call and keeps customers updated on when they will show up. They work around tenant schedules at rental properties, quote prices up front that reviewers call fair, and return to finish sealing or check on traps. Service covers Houston homes and nearby spots, with jobs running from quick same-day removals to multi-week efforts that include attic disinfection.
Reviews give the company a Google rating of 4.2 from 76 reviews. Common points include quick arrivals and solid sealing work, though some mention missed appointments or incomplete follow-through on repairs. DIRT Score 3.6 from N reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Honest and professional. Works with your schedule. Comes prepared for the job. Hole was patched up where the raccoons were getting in on the roof. Price is fair.”
“Poor communication, unreliable, and unprofessional. My husband and I had raccoons in the attic at a rental property, and we spoke with the owner about the cleanup after they were removed. He was at first extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We scheduled with him the next day to come by and take measurements, then to start the actual project 3 days later. My husband arranged to meet him at the property for the measurements while the tenants were out of the house. The appointment was for 2:00. At 2:45, he had not shown up, had not contacted us, and calls were going straight to voicemail. I called him from my phone, and he answered right away. I explained we had been waiting for him for 45 minutes, and he said that after running numbers he’s just not going to be able to do it. I can totally understand having to turn down a project, but intentionally ignoring phone calls and standing up a scheduled appointment for 45+ minutes was extremely unprofessional. A simple call or text prior to the scheduled appointment time explaining that he wasn’t going to be able to make it or complete the job would have been perfectly acceptable and understandable.”
“My frantic experience with Kind gentleman Kenneth , was a blessing ! ! ! Horrendous noises woke me, coming from the ceiling, within 2 hours of my phone call , he came and resolved the problem of mean squirrels, I don’t know what damage would have happened, if the fast respectful gentleman, had not went above and beyond with a follow up today, with his expertise, I am very satisfied! PTL”
“First experience was great. Said he would patch 2 holes made by raccoons. He set some traps and was very attentive. He came back patched 1 hole and never came back to patch the other hole which was on my roof. 2 months passed I texted him asking him if he would come back and set another trap since I was still hearing noise and if he would come back and patch the roof which is what I paid for. He asked if I had my receipt, but I said I would have to look for it but I know he has the main copy in his records and I would be more than happy to share my name and number so he could locate my file. He said it’s not his responsibility, I feel it is but that’s just my opinion. After that text exchange he called me and started yelling at me over the phone saying:“do you want to go down that road? Do you really want to go down that road? You are a grown adult, I can go down that road!!”. I don’t know what he meant by that lol. To sum it up, the guy never finished his job, he doesn’t keep good records evidently and he makes threats when you check him. SAVE YOUR MONEY!”
“They do not disappoint! Phase 1 is done and they got critters in traps !!!!!!! My family will sleep comfortably tonight. It’s a dangerous situation to be in and these guys know that and get after it. Phase 2 coming up- cleaning and sealing the roof. Thanks Kenneth!”
“Kenneth and his assistant were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. I had another company come out and give me a quote. I chose Texans #1 because Kenneth was quickly able to figure out I had more than rats taking shelter in my attic but also squirrels and a larger animal as well. They got the animals out, sealed the entry points and disinfected the attic. Kenneth was very responsive and came out to check when I thought I heard an animal trapped in the cage (false alarm). I was skeptical about the company when I read a negative review but I'm glad I found out for myself. I asked a lot of questions before we signed the paperwork and I felt confident they would get the job done right. I also knew that the price was reasonable after calling around and getting other quotes. I would definitely recommend this company.”
“Kenneth did a GREAT job! He was very punctual and quickly removed the rats and squirrels from my attic. He also did a thorough job of sealing everything up so they won't return. I know if I have an issue again this year that he will come back to and fix any issues for no actual costs. Thanks, Kenneth!”
“He managed to get the raccoon out of our attic in less than 24 hrs via trap (your mileage may vary) and releases them in a designated area miles away. Trap bait is edible. Also fixed the hole. Pleasant, quick, and great work ethic. Has other methods if trap doesn't work.”
“My sorority mascot is a squirrel and I think they’re cute and adorable except when they’re in my attic! Kenneth and his team could not have been more perfect to solve our problem! They expertly, humanely, quickly and efficiently lured the squirrels out and blocked their re-entry! A year later, after having our roof replaced, we heard those critters again! Without delay, Kenneth and his team came back out, saw that the roofers had removed the blocked protected area of entry, and he quickly solved the problem again! Great team, excellent work, happy customer!!!🐿️”
“Mr. Kenneth was great, friendly, and very informative from the first phone call. Came out same day I called and after 2 days I saw no activity on my cameras. He came out weekly to check the progress then sealed up my home. You won’t be disappointed!”
“Kenneth came out to my house with in an hour of calling Texans Rodent Removal. He walked the out side of my house and found where the rats where getting in and then he went in the attic and found where the rats where living, He explained the process and gave me a great price. He started that day and now 2 weeks later i am rat free and he fixed my home for me and did a great job. He was very easy to work with and friendly.”
“Contacted Kenneth in March of 2024, about critters in the attic of my garage apartment, he installed a trap on a hole in the soffit. No squirrels were trapped. The hole was closed. He charged $475. Contacted him again in December about the same problem, he suggested rats, put food and checked for results twice. Insisted on prepayment of $600. Did not finish the job, got angry when asked about next step, and never came back.”
“Kenneth really did a great job. It means a great deal to me as a single mother that I was able to trust him. He came back faithfully for over a week until the huge raccoon I had in my attic was gone. His solution, a two-way door, was the true deterrent to the raccoon returning. He also fogged my attic. Highly-recommended. Another big deal-- he was punctual, early, in fact. He kept every single appointment. You really don't see this that much anymore. Thank you Texas Rodent Removal!”
“I heard rats scurrying in my attic one morning and ended up selecting Kenneth from the list of options. He was able to come out the same day to start the process of getting rid of them. He explained the process to me and helped me understand what he was doing. He is great at communicating arrival time. I would recommend him to my friends.”
“Kenneth is an expert at getting rid of those little critters that decide to invade your home. He got TWO raccoons out of the attic and all the pesky squirrels that kept getting in too. Then he sealed all the holes with metal (Kenneth found FIVE HOLES and I only saw two). All this happened over a couple weeks and we were kept informed every step of the way on what was happening, why, and how he would be fixing it. Kenneth is very personable and extremely knowledgeable, and his services are reasonably priced. I highly recommend this company.”
“We had rats coming into our home due to an abandoned house adjacent to our place. We called Texans #1 Rodent Removal in July and signed a contract with a 1 year guarantee that rats would not re-enter. On the initial visit, Ken came out very quickly and assured us that if we still saw any traces of rodents, he would keep coming back to fix the problem. We did, and scheduled a 2nd visit which he missed due to (what he claimed) was a customer mix up. No big deal. When we called to reschedule, we mentioned the mix up to his office just to get a 100% confirmation on a date/time. He came, but was very upset/agitated about it and began cursing. Since that visit, we have seen some trace of rats and have tried calling to schedule yet another appointment since PER THE CONTRACT WE HAVE A 1 YEAR GUARANTEE, yet Ken has either stopped answering our calls/responding to our messages or we suspect, blocked our number. The contract still has 7 months left to be honored. In any case we still have a rodent problem, are a few hundred dollars out, and had to deal with his complete lack of professionalism. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!”
“Kenneth was extremely professional and kept me well informed of the full process. I would recommend him to anyone who has a rodent problem. I know why they are called #1 Rodent Removal. Thanks Kenneth for making our home safe again and rodent free!”
“We had baby raccoons in our chimney. Kenneth came right away. He explained exactly where they were and how he planned to get them out. He was able to get the 5 baby raccoons out with no damage to our home. Even recommended the best way to ensure this does not happen again. Highly recommend.”
“They were very helpful! The man, Kenneth that came was very nice and knew exactly what the problem was and worked hard to get rid of the mice in my kitchen. I didn't have to clean a message up after he left which is a plus. I would recommend them to anyone.”
“If zero stars could have been left then it would be a more accurate review. Friend used them and they did not remedy the rodent problem and they will not refund the fee ($800). Like other reviews on here, owner (Kenneth) is unprofessional and does not hold up to warranty or what his company's name stands for.”
