“Not sure if I just received a bad deal or what, but my lawn is absolutely ruined! I paid upfront in full and after the first treatment I noticed the lawn was dry and looking yellow and finally after the 3rd treatment my lawn now looks as if fire was set to it. I simply do not understand the problem, we’ve had plenty of rain and we regularly water our yard! Just a mess these people have created for me.”

“Disappointing Experience – No Visible Results Despite Professional Service We truly wish we could leave a more positive review, but unfortunately, our experience with Gecko Green Lawn Care has been deeply disappointing. While the technicians who visited our property were courteous and professional, the product and promised results fell far short of expectations. We were assured that our lawn would become the greenest in the neighborhood. Despite following watering guidelines and having a fully operational sprinkler system, our yard continues to struggle with brown patches and persistent weeds. We voiced our concerns to both customer service and the technicians after each visit, but were repeatedly reassured that visible improvement was coming. Unfortunately, that improvement never materialized. After investing $420.00 in this service, we saw no benefit. In fact, our untreated neighbor’s lawn looks healthier and more vibrant than ours. We have documented our lawn’s condition with timestamped photos following each treatment (1st: 03/05/25, 2nd: 04/04/25, 3rd: 05/08/25). We strongly believe in paying for quality service—but in this case, we did not receive it. We are asking Gecko ”

“I do not enjoy leaving negative feedback, but in this case I feel it is necessary so that others can make an informed decision. We signed up with Gecko Green Lawn Care after a very persuasive sales pitch that honestly made it sound like our yard would turn into the garden of Eden. I had recently leveled our lawn and was really excited to see the patchy areas fill in. The salesperson confidently told us that within 1 to 2 services we would see a big improvement. After a full lawn treatment and a liquid aeration, we saw absolutely no improvement, and in some spots, the grass actually looked worse. I understand we are heading into winter and some decline is natural, but what we were seeing just did not match what we were promised. Communication was a major issue. Services were scheduled without our approval, and we only found out via a text message right before a technician arrived. By the time Alejandro came out for our third service to the property, we were already pretty unhappy with the results. Thankfully, he was fantastic. He took the time to listen to everything that had happened, walked the yard, and explained that given the recent leveling, he would have taken a different a”

“Just had a sales guy walk past my no soliciting sign and ring my doorbell. This interrupts my work day and then takes time to calm my dog. I told him no thank you several times and pointed out my sign. He would not let up, kept interrupting me and kept talking. I recently ended my service with another company. Now due to this disrespect you will never get my business. I also know that our city ordinance is that he should have a permit and a safety vest on. Neither of which was present. Take this as a warning. This neighborhood talks and no one likes a pushy salesman. The non emergency number will be called eventually. There are better ways to earn business.”

“Alex did a good job applying the products on my lawn. He told me what he was applying and asked me did I have any questions. I asked him about watering and he informed me to do so within 24 hours and continue my scheduled watering. I received fertilizing and some weed control.”

“We are very very dissapointed in the quality of service/product and the lack of results. We opted to go with Gecko Green vs. Tru Green as some neighbors in our neighborhood had signs on lawns but we spent a lot of money with this company and still no "luscious grass" as they pride themselves in. It's very disheartening that they will just keep our money despite calling in and asking about guarantee. Clearly, their services don't do what they should or advertise will, the whole experience felt like a scam. STAY AWAY!! Unless you want to throw money away. Definitely better off just doing it yourself.”

“Christopher has done a marvelous job on my lawn. I hope he took before and after photos because the transformation has been incredible. When the team first came out, someone told me they might have to cancel the contract because my yard was overrun with weeds and there was very little they could do. I challenged them to do what they were hired to do, and I’m so glad they did. Today, my yard is one of the best looking lawns in the neighborhood. Christopher’s hard work, dedication, and consistency truly made the difference. Thank you for an outstanding job!”

“Terrible experience with this company. I continuously received calls to sell me on certain services and seasonal treatments. That made it really unclear what I was actually paying them to do. Last straw was a call at 7pm on a Friday to upsell me on some random fairy dust for my grass. I asked them to discontinue service and remove me from their call lists. Sure enough, a gecko green guy showed up maybe a month later trying to sell me some kind of package. Horrible business. Zero confidence that whatever they were doing was actually effective.”

“After posting this, ops director reached out and made it right. Contacted me and heard me out. Came out to to inspect the damaged areas. Ultimately came back and dug out dead grass and replaced with new sod. I’ve been a gecko green customer for over 2 years. Tech came out to fertilize my yard and dumped large amounts fertilizer in several places of my yard, burning and killing my grass. I called customer service and they told me a manager would call to schedule a site visit. Didn’t hear from them for over a week until I reached back out. When I finally heard from a manager he told me there was nothing they could do and I would just have to let it grow back. I told him I was going to cancel and he said “that was fine”.”
