Budget Bee

Budget Bee runs bee and wasp removal work out of Katy, Texas. Jeff operates this family-owned company that covers Katy, Houston, and the Greater Houston area. They focus on honey bee removal, wasp removal, live bee relocation, residential and commercial jobs, plus free inspections and bee inspection services. The outfit uses straightforward methods on hives found in walls, eaves, roofs, and outdoor structures, with two decades of field work behind the owner.

Homeowners reach out when hives form inside houses, around dryer vents, in bathroom cabinets, or after storms knock down trees and release swarms. Jeff arrives to pull out combs, clear aggressive bees from yards and interiors, repair entry spots, and relocate live hives when possible. In one case he confirmed no hive existed and skipped any charge. Other calls involve destroyed outdoor hives on cold nights or new hives that pesticides failed to stop, and he finishes those jobs the same week or next day.

Jeff answers phones after hours, sometimes at 8:30 p.m., and lines up visits for the next morning or within 45 minutes on urgent calls. He keeps customers updated on arrival times, quotes fair prices that stay lower than competitors, and works across the listed service spots without extra delays. Reviews note he shows up on time, explains the exact problem location, and wraps most jobs in under an hour or within one to two hours.

Google lists a 4.9 rating from 145 reviews, with repeated notes on fast arrivals, honest quotes, and clear communication from Jeff. DIRT Score 4.7 from reviews on Finds.

“Outstanding in every way. I called "after hours" probably about 6:30 p.m. Jeff answered and told me that he could come out the next day. He came, was able to to remove the entire hive and was in and out in under an hour. Very nice, professional and communicative. His pricing is fair and extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!”

“They really care! I found a destroyed hive on my morning walk, the bees were all balled up trying to keep warm after their hive was destroyed when the dead tree they called home fell. I called a few places hoping they could save them but nobody would take my call since it wasn’t on private property until I called Budget Bee. Jeff answered, and was on his way within a couple hours, which is great since there is a freeze warning in 2 days! I really hope the hive survives and that Budget Bee can find them a new place to call home! So grateful to know there are people out there who really care! Thank you Jeff!”
