Mosquito Shield of the Permian Basin

Mosquito Shield of the Permian Basin runs pest control work out of Odessa with a focus on Midland, Texas. The company sprays for mosquitoes, ticks, and perimeter pests around pools, decks, patios, and swing sets plus breeding spots. Their vector-trained technicians cover the 79762 area and nearby spots including Saddle Club, Green Tree Country Club, Stanton, Gardendale, Greenwood, and Andrews. Calls go to 432-296-1166 at the location on North Dixie Boulevard.

Homeowners bring them in when mosquitoes block patio time by the pool or keep dogs and family inside during summer. After the sprays customers report fewer bites and steady outdoor use again, with techs like Daniel and Jack returning for follow-up work after rain or before gatherings. Reviews note the treatments hold up for weeks at a time and fix lingering issues without harm to pets or pond fish.

The crew texts a day or two ahead, shows up on the booked day, and adjusts times around customer needs including after-hours visits. Service runs every two weeks as standard with extras added for events or heavy rain periods. They stay within the Midland and Odessa region and handle questions directly, sometimes with the owner stepping in on short notice.

Feedback shows a 4.7 Google rating along with repeated notes on clear scheduling notices, on-time arrivals, and solid drops in mosquito counts that let people sit outside daily. Reviewers keep mentioning reliable follow-through and property respect during each visit.

“My experience has been extremely positive in every aspect. Great communication great people and I don’t have mosquitoes at all. Highly recommend!!!”

“We had a great experience with Mosquito Shield! The treatments have made a huge difference, and we’re finally able to enjoy spending time outside without constantly being bothered by mosquitoes. Their team is always professional, friendly, and reliable, showing up when scheduled and providing excellent customer service. If you’re looking for an effective mosquito control service, I highly recommend Mosquito Shield!”

“Mosquito Shield is fantastic. We had bad mosquitos sitting on the patio by the pool and had enough. Called Mosquito Shield and set up service. Mosquitos were gone. They communicate so well on when they will service and when the tech is headed to your house. Techs are very respectful of the property, close all gates, and make sure to spray really well in problem areas. Highly recommended.”

“Mosquito Shield has been a great addition to my summer yard maintenance (since mosquitoes love me!), allowing me to sit on my patio and enjoy my morning coffee with my dogs. The office staff is cooperative and willing to work with my schedule, the workers are thorough, and the system seems to work well. Thanks for doing a great job! 👍”

“Honestly I can’t remember what it was like before Mosquito Shield we’ve used them for so long. We still have a few of the little bloodsuckers but when they get back they spray and they go away. No adverse effects on us or our pets and no extra jobs for me to spray the less effective sprays. Highly recommend!”

“Mosquito Shield does a good job and they’re always willing to do extra treatments if we get rain or we’re having an event at the house.”

“Highly recommend!!! I cannot say enough good things about not only the product and how effective it is, but ALSO…the owners. Local, loving, God-serving people. They give you a heads up when they will service your property, and are so genuine in kind in all they do. I don’t realize how spoiled I am until I go elsewhere that doesn’t use Mosquito Shield lol. I’d encourage you, do yourself a favor and ditch the mosquitos for good! 😊”

“Had the service for 3 years now and notice a drop in the mosquitos for sure! Helps us enjoy our patios daily!!!”

“This service has been easy, and has allowed us to enjoy our back yard again. Last year, we had so may mosquitos that we couldn’t enjoy the yard for 2 minutes, but this year we have been able to sit outside! Mosquito Shield has been quick, friendly and they always try to accommodate my schedule. They let me know the day before and what time they will be spraying. I highly recommend this service!”

“I’ve been a customer of Mosquito Shield for over a year. I recently had a question about a service. The owner responded almost immediately. He then offered to come to my house after hours to discuss. After answering all of my questions, he went ahead and sprayed my yard before he left. When a business owner responds to an existing customer the way he did, it gets my attention. Excellent customer service! I would definitely recommend them. C. Brown”

“I have had a great experience with Mosquito Shield. Was a bit skeptical about it but it really does work. There was one time I had mosquito issues after they sprayed and they came back and fixed that problem. They text a couple days before they are scheduled to visit so you can mow before if you need to. Also, around the holidays, if you are planning an event or gathering in your yard, just let them know and they try and make it out before and spray before the event. This is my second year using them and I will continue to do so because the product works and the service is great. Well worth the money.”

“We have used Mosquito shield for a few years now. Daniel has done an amazing job for the last 2 years. Met with me to discuss our mosquitos and listened and formed a plan that has made our backyard usable again!”

“Mosquito Shield does an outstanding job. Before using the service, we could not use our yard comfortably. We kept bug spray available for our guests, and used it ourselves every time we went out. MS has changed that for us.. They come at least every 2 weeks, and on special occasions whenever asked. Our yard is now mosquito free! We are VERY happy.”

“They show up when they say they will and always text beforehand. When I've had mosquito issues between sprays, they will come out and re-spray. The mosquitos love my husband and, unfortunately, the bites really burn instead of itch so it we had to find a solution. The best part is, it works! We can enjoy our backyard again. I always get the feeling, when I've talked to one of the employees, that they really care.”

“Great customer service. Technicians are communicative, on time, flexible and professional. Jack in particular has gone above and beyond to accommodate my schedule and animals. Thank you!”

“They come out every 2 weeks, and spray my yard, I do not have a mosquito problem. I can enjoy staying out side without a mosquito biting me.”

“This is the third year we have used Mosquito Shield. They are communicative, Punctual, and thorough in their work. They have definitely made a great difference to the mosquito population in the mosquito prone months. We wouldn't want to go through the summer without them.”

“10 stars. It’s been so nice to have my mornings and evenings on the patio again. As someone who’s always attracted mosquitos I can say this is literally life changing. The customer service is even better; the tech is communicative and on schedule.”

“This is the second summer I have used Mosquito Shield. I can finally enjoy my backyard in the evenings. It hasn’t been harmful to my pond fish or box turtles. I highly recommend if you have mosquito issues.”

“I have family members that are allergic to mosquito bites and this service allows them to hang out in the yard! They come out regularly and if we see any mosquitos they will come out with a simple phone call. We are on our second year and have been very happy thus far.”
