“We had used this company for a few treatments before purchasing an annual program where Tony would come out every 3 months to reapply and in-between if needed. My husband and I were happy to support a smaller and local company, especially when we had so much success in the past. The last time Tony treated our house was December 2022 (the 2nd out of 4 for the year). In March, about 1-2 weeks before our next scheduled quarterly treatment, we were have some pests problems. I had texted Tony on March 6th asking if he'd be able to come out and treat the yard early and then again on March 7th when we noticed a rodent was somewhere in our house. Tony had responded saying he was out of the state for the next month and would make contact with a guy that helps him to see if he could come handle the rodent problem for us (this occurred on March 7th). I messaged him again on March 11th asking if the guy would be able to handle the rodent issue for us with no response. I messaged again on April 10th with the same question, with no response. In the reply to this review, the “owner” (likely ChatGPT) says he doesn’t take yearly contracts. He MOST CERTAINLY had ZERO trouble taking our $480 for ONE SINGLE pest control visit. This guy is an absolutely joke of a business man. (I said what I said.) My husband and I hired The Bug Reaper last year in September 2022. Tony came ONE TIME and has literally ghosted us for almost the last year due to a “family emergency in florida”. Welp, I’ve tried to be polite, understanding, and patient. But when a company DEMANDS one year paid in full contracts to do business with you, I expect SOME SORT OF COMMUNICATION when he cannot keep his end of that agreement. I’ve called literally dozens and dozens and dozens of times. I’ve sent emails. So has my husband. EVERYTHING GOES IGNORED. We paid about $480 dollars to literally get yanked around. I was so excited to start this contract with him because he genuinely seemed like a decent guy who knew how to run a business. “Great service. Im just moving into house house in katy tx I been seeing big roaches around. I had another exterminator company come spray. And they were still getting in house. Even though they were dead. I don't want them in house at all if possible. Tony came by yesterday and sprayed and did a thorough spraying and laid sticky traps in my garage. “I had two previous pest control company's out and I still had issues with spiders. The last one was a black widow. After seeing it I called and had them come over. After they came out, they actually took the time to explain to me and my wife what he used vs others and showed me where he put down the chemicals. The area he sprayed were way more than when the last company came. ( I did not watch the first company) so far so good and have not seen any other spiders in or around my equipment. Hope this helps. He would wipe them out, and we would repeat this process. Now, we are on a pest control schedule and haven’t dealt with pests in a long time.
