Crusader Mosquito Control, LLC

Crusader Mosquito Control, LLC runs as a family owned operation out of Pearland, Texas. Larry manages the company and focuses on sales, installations, repairs, and maintenance of MistAway mosquito misting systems along with other brands. The work covers the greater Houston area including neighborhoods in Sugar Land, Richmond, Rosenberg, Humble, Kingwood, and The Woodlands. Services center on setting up systems that customers control like a thermostat to keep flying insects out of yards.

Homeowners describe requests for backyard and pool area installations where mosquitoes had stopped them from using outdoor spaces. Larry, Jason, and James handled the jobs by walking properties, providing on site quotes, and completing clean setups that left yards free of bites. Some accounts mention the same team returning for maintenance or fixes that kept systems running without issues, allowing families to spend time outside again including children who had avoided pools due to reactions.

The business answers requests fast, with Larry often calling the next day even during time off to schedule yard walks and installations within two weeks. Pricing comes up as competitive and reasonable in multiple cases, and the small shop setup means direct dealings without extra steps. Service stays limited to the greater Houston region with emphasis on punctual, tidy work and quick answers to questions after the job.

Reviews highlight consistent professionalism, effective results against mosquitoes and occasional other pests, and reliable follow up from the owner and crew. The pattern across accounts points to strong outcomes for outdoor use and clear communication throughout. DIRT Score 4.9 from 147 reviews on Finds.

“I highly recommend Crusader Mosquito control, they are very professional, did an amazing job on installing my system. I was very impressed. Super excited about not dealing with mosquitoes this summer. Jason did an amazing job on installing my sprayer system, it’s really hard to find good prices and good help. This company has both good prices and good work ethic, and that is hard to find today!!!”

“Larry and his team were absolutely fantastic. I put in a request on a Friday evening and Larry reached out the very next day while he was on vacation to discuss my needs. He moved things around and was able to come walk my yard the next Monday and provide a quote on the spot. His pricing was very reasonable and he walked me through everything that was required for installation and got me schedule for the following week. The whole process from filing a request to installation was less than 2 weeks!!! Highly recommend these guys and will be installing additional misters in the future.”

“Had Crusader install my MistAway system and they were awesome. Super fast, completely reliable, and honestly so easy to work with. Since they’re a smaller shop, you don’t have to deal with any corporate runaround, which was a huge plus. James and Larry were great the whole way through. Highly recommend them if you want your yard back!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If we could give 20 stars, we would! Larry and his team have been incredible from start to finish. Their service is professional, friendly, and thorough, and the quality and effectiveness of the system have exceeded our expectations. We can finally enjoy our pool and backyard without constantly worrying about mosquitos. Our daughter now feels confident going outside and getting in the pool without being devoured by mosquitos or risking an allergic reaction to them. Thanks to Crusader Mosquito and Larry’s team, our outdoor space feels comfortable and safe again. We LOVE our misting system and Crusader Mosquito and highly recommend them to anyone considering a mosquito misting system!”

“I strongly recommend Crusader Mosquito Control if you want to enjoy your outdoor space. We are highly satisfied by the effectiveness of the system. Larry and Jason installed a MistAway system in our backyard in May 2026. Everything was handled professionally with excellent quality work at a competitive price. Larry's 40 years of experience didn't go unnoticed, and Jason has taken care of us anytime we needed anything. 5 stars!”

“The Pest Control service did an excellent job addressing our concerns. The technicians were professional, punctual, and thorough in their inspection and treatment process. They explained each step clearly and ensured that our property was treated safely and efficiently. Overall, we are very satisfied with the service and would highly recommend them to others.”

“Crusader Mosquito is a great, family owned business. I had a really good experience working with Larry. Professional, on time and clean installation. My family has been enjoying the backyard without being bit by mosquitos since the system has been in place.”

“The owner’s dedication and commitment to quality are truly the driving force behind this business. They installed the system quickly and professionally, and ever since then, our backyard has been virtually mosquito-free. We’ve been able to enjoy spending time outside with our family, and we couldn’t be happier. If you’re thinking about installing a mosquito control system for your family and kids, I highly recommend this company. You’ll be very satisfied with their service and the results👍”

“Thank god for Larry and his team mosquitos have been absolutely terrible this whole summer and going into the fall haven’t been able to enjoy my yard without suffering the consequences but now that I have the mosquito system installed I haven’t seen anything at all thanks Larry and Jason for your service”

“These guys are tremendous. My wife hated going outside due to mosquitoes and now with this set up from The Crusader Mosquito team, we’re finally able to enjoy our backyard more. Furthermore, any time we have questions, they have been ‘Johnny on the Spot’ and super helpful. Took awhile to make a decision to install a misting system and now wish I would have done this year ago. 5 Stars for Crusader and their reasonable pricing!”

“Top notch service and hospitality!! Great family owned business! Larry and his grandson are wonderful and dedicated to providing excellent workmanship and customer service! Highly recommend!”

“Such a wonderful man that owns this company. Ensures great customer service is done with each interaction. Perfectly and tidy install of the system. Has completely eliminated mosquitoes, and actually june bugs and roaches we noticed have died as well. Highly recommend. I obtained quotes from 3 different companies and although they were all competitive the customer service and the refill plan with Crusader exceeded the other companies.”

“Going with Crusader Mosquito for our misting system was one of the best decisions my wife and I have made in our home! My wife and I recently moved to Sugar Land and could not step outside without getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. We tried everything - fogging, eliminating standing water, cutter guard spraying, mosquito dunks, traps, etc. Even after coating myself and my son with mosquito repellent, we would still get multiple bites. As an avid researcher, I read up on a lot of local companies and their misting systems and subsequently had multiple companies come out to give us a quotes. Not only did Crusader Mosquito offer us competitive and reasonable pricing, but also did a fantastic job installing the system. We have had the system now for two months and it has completely transformed our outside play. We no longer need mosquito repellent and I no longer use the other things that I mentioned above. This has been one of the few companies that I have worked with that I can say I was impressed by my initial interaction, extremely pleased with the installation and results, and am still pleased with the results months out.”

“Larry and his team are responsive, quick, and do a great job! We are finally able to enjoy going outside again (at least free of the mosquitoes) thanks to the mosquito system installed!”

“I’ve tried several pest control services over the years and I can honestly say Crusader's is the most professional and best service I’ve received by a long shot. I had a roach issue in my kitchen because we had a hole in the back of our cabinet that we didn't know about and Crusaders was able to locate the problem able to get it taken care of that same day. Ever since I started using them, I never have to worry about seeing any bugs after they come for months and that’s honestly the biggest peace of mind when you have a toddler. They're also SUCH experts on any time of pest you experience. I’ve never had a company be able to name the specific species of bug and provide pest control specific to that pest. It's honestly super impressive the amount of knowledge these people have. I absolutely hate and am terrified of all types of bugs so I cannot say enough good things about this company. HIGHLY recommend using them if you’ve have any hesitation or bad experience in the past. You will not regret it!”

“Please use these guys! They’re a family owned business, and you don’t get service like this anymore. Mr. Larry came out for estimate to install and I think it’s priced very reasonably, and honestly, it’s 100% worth the investment. The install is Clean and blends in with everything so it’s barely recognizable by others, but boy does it work! I barely see mosquitos anymore and my son—who always got ate up outside—hasn’t had a bite at our house for as long as I can remember. Furthermore, I just had my first service on the system, and the team that came out had such good manners and were very kind gentleman. Of course, efficient too. You can’t go wrong with Crusader!!”

“I grew up in a family‑owned pest control business, so I have a deep appreciation for companies that still operate with true small‑business values—honesty, consistency, and taking care of people the way you’d want your own family taken care of. Thanks to them, we can actually enjoy time outside together again. Honest people, great service, and a business I’m happy to support.”

“I had a wonderful experience with Larry and his crew! Very friendly and did an excellent job!”

“Larry has now equipped two of our homes with the equipment necessary for mosquito control. I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about my experiences. He does an excellent job with fuss free installs + maintenance and we have had no problems with our systems to date. We enjoy our backyard mosquito free regularly. I cannot recommend Larry and Crusader Mosquito Control enough!”

“Super nice and responsive. Wonderful service. Love working with Larry and his grandson. They are a great team! After extensive research I came across Crusader Mosquito Control. We called Larry that same day. He was extremely knowledgeable about the different options we have for a mosquito system. He was super sweet and answered all our questions patiently. His pricing was fair and reasonable. He installed our mosquito system in a few hours and I can’t thank him enough for the great job he has done. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”
