“Kinda frustrated with this this company. I believe it was the manager that we interacted with in the begginning for setting up for rodent extermination. He has amazing customer service. They set up traps on the first visit and were great. I was told "the office" would call us to set up to check the traps. Nobody ever called. I followed up and they weren't able to come out right away. So I had to take the dead rats out of my own attic. They came out to the house finally saying it was a final inspection. This was the first time they've checked the traps. The lady who showed up assured us it was not a final. She told us "the office" would follow up to schedule.... nobody followed up. I called to set up the next appointment. Again, they told me this was a final.... I explained, that we were told the traps would be checked until we had no rats. Why is this another final? She laughed and blamed it on "the office". All I know is the girl who comes out is great. The manager was great but whoever works at "the office" for scheduling is not. Or maybe is the communication from field to office. It needs some work. Im not saying to not go with them compared to other companies but expect that yo”

“First of all, the technician was excellent. He was courteous, attentive and did a good job. So I dont want this to reflect on him. We were Biotech customers for 30 years and were pleased with them. However, Romney purchased them and reduced and changed the services we had while jacking up their prices. Then I had to go online to sign to a poor website to sign an agreement just so the tech could start our treatment. After scrolling down through about four feet of legal gibberish, I was finally able to find a place to sign. I will never use this company again.”

“If you want a company to show up and do what you want THIS IS NOT THEM! The first two times were great then I started getting emails that they showed up when they didn’t, they did our termite stuff as well (still stuck with that bill right now 😡) but they only ever baited it once. When I called and asked they said someone came out I told them they did not and I wanted to cancel everything. This was a pain as well when I stated my concerns she told me she would have someone come and walk things with me and explain what they found. Surprise that never happened! Someone came out and sprayed the outside left. Oh and they will never tell you when they are coming either. You will get an email 3 days before with no time window so be prepared to stay home until they come if you want the interior of your home sprayed. They left a mouse trap in the garage when we were having an issue and said they would be back in a week and nope. So many issues not enough time.”

“What a rip off company Sent a bill for a service not done at my resident, l was transfered to this company after they bought Southwest Exterminator (best Service they had), any way, they claiming that l had service done at my resident back in May of 2026, that the Tech spray outside my property, guess what l work from home, Yes the Tech rang the door bell and left, l am watching every moment and he claimed he sprayed the yard, wonder what did he spray on and now after 3 months yousend me a bill- Why did it take that long to send a bill- you always ask payment rightaway- No communication from this company l have ever received - spoke with the Manager Melissa today 8-27-2026 and wants me to send her proof that the work was not done- l would never recommend anyone to this company, l have also come to know that they lost lot of the customers from Southwest Exterminator”

I was notified on Sun that qtrly service would occur Technician was nice, greeted me, asked if there were any specific issues I was concerned about and took care of business. My only concern or issue was that I was given a “window” was from 8am to 8pm! Sorta wipes out whole day. Wish the “window “ was smaller or I was offered a time option to be able to work with”

“The company I had been using for years sold to Romney. I had an appointment today with a window from 1 to 5. At 4, the tech texted and said he was running late and another appointment ahead of me. Texted several more times and after 6:40 told him to cancel. After reading other reviews, this seems to be an ongoing issue. Will definitely not be using their services.”

“This was our first time using Romney Pest Control (formerly known as Southwest Exterminating, I believe). First, the appointment window was between 8-10am. Most businesses give you a call or text when they’re on the way, usually to give you a 25-30 minute ETA. Not this company. I waited around from 9am to 10:15am. Yep, the tech showed up late. Did he apologize for being late? Nope. He also wasn’t in a marked company vehicle. Regardless, the tech was slow, hobbled around and inspected the areas of concern. He said we had termites in the master bath and carpenter ants in the garage. He gave me an estimated quote (around $3,000!) treat a two story house when we only have one story. After I corrected him, he proceeded to tell me the price is the same even if it’s one story?? Then he tried to schedule me for the pest treatment he recommended and when I told him I was going to get another quote to compare he got miffed and said oh well we can’t schedule you until you decide—that’s understandable. However, don’t let your irritation show so glaringly. Then he said he would email me the official quote same day (Friday 5-1-26). As of today 5/7/26, I still haven’t received his quote. And t”
