About

325 Pools Llc operates as a plumber based in Abilene, Texas, where the dry climate and temperature swings create constant demand for reliable outdoor water lines and drainage work. The company handles plumbing tied to backyard features, sending technicians like John to job sites for consultations on excavation depths, pipe layouts, and overall system design. Homeowners in the area often face issues with shifting soil and freeze protection, so the team focuses on getting those elements right from the start rather than repeated fixes later. Feedback shows John and his wife coordinate with construction crews on these projects, responding quickly even when schedules are tight and offering practical advice that goes beyond a basic sales pitch.

They perform on-site supervision for pool plumbing installations, including completing the necessary lines and providing warranties after the work finishes. One project involved a 21 by 52 round setup with solar lights that ended up level and solidly built once the plumbing passed inspection. Customers describe the crew guiding excavation and design details so the water system integrates cleanly with the rest of the build. In another case the plumber was brought in specifically to consult and stand behind the pipe work done by the homeowner's own team, making sure everything met the required specs before signing off. These jobs center on accurate measurements, proper trenching, and ensuring flow works without leaks once the system is running.

Customers consistently note fast replies from John and solid knowledge of the trade, along with fair pricing when the full scope stays clear from the beginning. Quality receives mixed marks depending on how closely supervision matches the original plan, while communication holds up well in most accounts even on complex outdoor plumbing. Speed stands out when the team arrives to handle urgent site checks in Abilene's variable weather. DIRT Score 3.07 from 28 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

We had been wanting a pool in our backyard for awhile. For several years, we threw our money away buying the ones from retail stores, only to realize that we would have to replace it every year or two. We finally gave Statewide Pools a call and it was the best decision we had ever made! John came out to our home and explained to us in detail the information we needed to know to make it happen. He and his staff made sure we always knew the process step by step. If we had questions…they listened. They worked tirelessly and meticulously to get it done in a timely manner. Now, we own a beautiful and affordable pool that we love having friends and family enjoy every summer. We are so happy with our swimming pool ♥️ Thank you so much!!!!

Excellent customer service! Statewide Pools came recommended by a coworker and we decided to take a look. Very educated and informed staff. We loved several pools and selected a beautiful 21 x 52 round pool with solar lights and it looks great. It is nice and level and very well built. Definitely worth the money. Highly Recommended!

I’m very pleased with John , his wife and his team . I was debating on a pool and after speaking with John I’m ready to move forward .He is very professional and as busy as he is he responded very quickly and very knowledgeable and helpful and he actually cares and is not only just to make a sale . Thank You Statewide Pools for being in business. It’s nice to know that people still care.

Yeah, I did not purchase an installed pool, but instead, as a contractor I paid John to “consult” and warrantee the pool installation by my own construction team. The install was suppose to supervised with a blue print for excavation depth and design. The plumbing was suppose to be completed and set to “just drop in the ground and tie in” to the filter. He said, “I’ve been doing this for years, and your team is more than qualified to complete this install.” Reality is that John ordered the pool, provided the 3D pool manufacturer marketing image as the excavation plan (which is 11” shallower than the actual pool, requiring a complete re-dig), showed up for delivery, DEMANDED his final payment and disappeared like the flat bed that dropped the pool in my alley. Now, I did get the product that I want. Though, I spent retail, plus $2600 in fees, and did receive 90 minutes of on-site assistance. Before engaging this company, realize he answers the phone, he’s a great talker, but his follow through is abysmal. Keep looking.

I was just in there to work on their card machines, but Barbie was super friendly and helpful.
