About
Micah's Honest Plumbing operates as a straight-up residential plumbing company based in Lucas, Texas. Run by a master plumber, the outfit focuses on everyday home plumbing needs across the area with a 24/7 emergency line for after-hours calls. They stick to honest work without pushing unnecessary jobs, covering everything from basic fixes to bigger repairs that keep houses running right in the local weather and soil conditions. Homeowners in Lucas often deal with shifting ground that leads to line issues, and this crew steps in with licensed pros who know the terrain.
They handle sewer repairs and replacements, including collapsed lines under houses that shut down properties for tenants, plus drain cleaning, water heater replacements, slab leak detection, faucet work, and water line fixes. Micah and Jenny show up for the heavy jobs and make sure the work gets prioritized so people can get back to normal fast. At the same time they take calls from folks like Justin or Rainey and walk them through simple fixes over the phone or with a quick video so the homeowner can handle minor problems without a service truck rolling out. Jenni has even given advice on hiring elsewhere when the job falls outside their usual routes to keep costs down.
Customers keep coming back because the crew stays direct about what needs fixing and what does not, with clear talk on price and timing that avoids surprises. Reviews highlight solid quality on tough sewer jobs and fast responses that get tenants back in place without dragging things out. Folks note the fair pricing and willingness to explain options instead of padding bills, which builds real trust on both small advice calls and full repairs. DIRT Score 4.9 from 102 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“I’ve used Micah for years now. Not sure why I haven’t left a review yet, but when he says honest plumbing he means it. The majority of the times I’ve called, he or his wife give me free advice with clear instructions to fix a minor problem myself, and the times he had to come out to fix a more major issue his work was great. 2 days ago we had a leak under the kitchen sink. His wife asked for a picture. Micah called me 20 minute later explaining how a nut came loose on the valve and it just needed to be tightened slightly. I tightened it and just checked today, it’s bone dry. Will only use Micah for my plumbing needs”
“Just did business with Micahs Honest Plumbing for the first time. Absolutely great experience. We had a collapsed sewer line under the house and our tenants were unable to use the property. Micah and Jenny did a great job, not only with the repair, but helping to prioritize to get the tenants back in the house as quickly as possible. I very highly recommend Micahs Honest Plumbing and will be using them for every plumbing job in the future.”
“Spoke with Jenni at Micah's Honest Plumbing and she informed me that they don't service city of Dallas addresses typically. The conversation would normally end there, but she graciously offered advice on how to hire a comparable plumber to avoid price gouging of the large private equity-backed players in the Dallas market. She also pointed me to Locke Supply (they too were excellent and helpful) as a great resource where I was able to purchase a Bradford White water heater directly. I took her advice and was able to get my entire project (a hot water heater replacement) completed for $1,700 by another vendor (I've reviewed them as well), which included the hot water heater, labor, City of Dallas permit, auto-stop/leak detector and a few misc valves and pipe fitting. Thank you Jenni for taking 10 minutes to offer the most helpful advice...above and beyond!”
“Rather than easily take a couple hundred bucks to come out for a service call and a quick repair, they twice took my phone calls/questions and guided me on how to do the easy repair myself. Of course they would have come out but I agreed I could probably fix it myself. They sent me a video of how to fix it and a link with the product I would need to order! Who does this? All while not making a cent off of me. Clearly, customer service is valued with this company and honesty like the name implies. Little things like this will guarantee I give them a call for future problems.”
“My water heater went out today, so I wanted a local independent plumber. So I called Micah's. I was quoted $2000.00, I said no, I went a brought a new 50 gallon gas water heater and new water and gas fittings for $700 @ lowe's (10% veteran discount). What is going on now day's $1,300 for labor!! That's a sin........... I'm 65 and with the help from my neighbor we were done by 12 noon. Christian touting Micah's honest plumbing needs to go to confession.”
