Bk Plumbing

Bk Plumbing works out of Athens, Texas as a straight up plumbing crew that covers the full range of pipe and drain problems for houses in the area. They run 24/7 services so folks can reach them any hour when water stops flowing or backs up without warning. The team knows the local homes and how clay soil plus older lines create the usual clogs and leaks that hit East Texas properties. Homeowners turn to them for both quick emergency calls and planned work because they show up with the right tools and finish without extra trips back and forth.

On the job side they handle drain clogs that fill sinks and tubs with water, hot water heater emergencies that need fast attention, and full installs like double vanities in bathrooms. One crew reached a house on a Sunday after another outfit missed the clog problem entirely. They also sent help the same day for a heater issue and even lined up outside help when the job fell outside their usual scope, then returned the next day with the other crew to wrap everything up. Names like Nick Deaton handle the first talks while Colin, Stephen, Allen, and Mason take care of the actual install work on site.

Customers keep coming back because the work holds up and the response hits fast when needed, even if the hourly rate talk could use more upfront detail on bigger jobs. The crew earns solid marks for fixing real problems without shortcuts and for moving quick on both weekend calls and heater swaps. That steady record on quality and speed adds up across hundreds of jobs in Athens. DIRT Score 5.0 from 331 reviews on Finds.

“Thank you so much for coming out on a Sunday and helping us with our plumbing issues. We had another plumbing service out last week and they told us that all was well and no clogs in our drains but that was not the case. Everything in the house filled up with water this morning and would not drain. Scott from BK Plumbing arrived quickly, was very professional and efficient. He was able to get the clogged pipe open without any problems. We paid an elevated weekend rate but the cost was still very affordable for us. Also, Scott was great with our big dog who was right there for help and supervision of services. Thank you again to Scott and BK Plumbing!”

“BK Plumbing was amazing! We had an emergency with our hot water heater, they were here swiftly and began working on the issue. They gave me the name of someone to call to repair something that wasn’t in their wheelhouse. That person was here within hours. Both teams came back the next day and finished everything!! Thank you for your promptness and professionalism!!”

“Not happy with this company. No transparency on the hourly rate. They sent two guys when i didn't ask for that. Hourly rate was over $300!! And not disclosed upfront. This wasn't an emergency repair, it was scheduled for a week out. It took them almost all day to install a double vanity in a bathroom and initially charged me over $2000.... to install a vanity that was already assembled and connect to the drain.. 6 hours each guy times $150. My final bill (after having to argue about it) was $1,800. I'm shocked. Tried to get in touch with a manager or owner and was told i would get a call back and never did, 2 weeks later. Was hoping to get some kind of credit or at least an explanation on why the price was so high. We had them scheduled for another project but I definitely won't use this company again.”

“BK Plumbing provided an outstanding experience from the initial consultation with Nick Deaton to the final installation by Colin, Stephen, Allen and Mason. A competent, committed, and caring experience. I highly recommend their services.”

“Stephen Genualdi was the plumber who did our hot water heater. It was a very very old heater we had, Stephen put all the things the new one needed and explained all to us. I was so thankful, and the new one is awesome. BK plumbing is definitely my plumbers now. They had put one in for my daughter a month before and she told me of them. Very nice and considerate people!!!”
