About

Mojica Plumbing And Drain Cleaning Llc works out of Austin, TX as a straight plumbing outfit that handles the usual calls for water lines, drains, and fixtures around town. Homeowners there deal with hard water scaling and old setups that break down fast in the heat, so these guys focus on getting those systems back up without dragging things out. They take on residential jobs like heater swaps and clog fixes that pop up in older neighborhoods where pipes have seen better days. The crew shows up with the basics to sort out leaks and pressure problems that Austin houses throw at them regularly.

They handle water heater replacements and repairs as a big part of the work, sending techs like Oscar out to check issues on the spot and get things running again the same day when possible. Oscar has shown up on time for calls about fifteen year old heaters, explained what needed doing, and swapped in high efficiency tankless units at a price that stayed clear with no extras tacked on later. Other jobs covered drain cleaning and venting checks, where they diagnosed problems fast and wrapped up without extra trips. Customers noted the crew listened to the full description of the trouble first, then laid out the steps before starting so there were no surprises on what the fix would involve.

Reviews split on how the work holds up over time, with solid marks for quick arrivals, upfront pricing, and clear talk about the job but some complaints on installs that led to early failures or safety risks like venting left undone. Folks liked the same day response and fair costs on heater work while others ran into big repair bills down the road from the initial job. Speed and communication come up as steady points when things go right. DIRT Score 2.86 from 18 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Paid for new water heater, cost was very high. 4 years later it's dead, costs, as much to repair as paid to install Exhaust venting never hooked up, never fixed, rafters, all charred and new plumber is telling me I'm lucky I didn't have a major house fire. So According to new plumber, Mojica plumbing installed it so poorly, the house could have burned down, or had carbon monoxide issues. I can't recommend that. Contacted Mojica, now they are saying it's my fault for not draining the tank yearly, that the chimney was not connected, at all ever. Then they Blamed it on a roofer, but I have not had a roof done in the 4 years since then Update: Was going to meet them to look at it, but after the clear, aggressive effort to shift the blame in that phone call, I just had Home Depot put in a new one. It seemed pretty clear to me from the phone call that the meeting was going to be a waste of time. The heater could have burned down my duplex, and from the phone call, they didn't seem to want to take any responsibility. The whole call was about trying to find an excuse for why it was not their fault, instead of "that seems messed up, let us send someone over right now to take a look".

Excellent service from start to finish! Oscar The plumber arrived on time, was professional and courteous, and quickly diagnosed the issue. The repair was done efficiently, and the pricing was fair with no hidden fees. I highly recommend mojica plumbing for anyone in need of reliable plumbing services!

I had issues with my 15-year-old hot water heater. I've done business with many other plumbing companies in the past. I can say that Mojica Plumbing is by far the best. They came out the same day, gave me a good price, and installed a high-efficiency tankless water heater. I couldn't be happier with their service and communication. I will never use another plumbing company other than Mojica Plumbing.

Mojica Plumbing has been a client of mine so when I needed plumbing services, Mojica was my first call. The service was great. I received a call before the service and Oscar was able to put my mind at ease. Oscar listened to the description of the problem then explained the work he would do and the cost. The work was completed very quickly and with no surprises. Mojica turned what would have been a three trip to home depot project into a single call.

To rate "I loved it" wouldn't be my typical response for a plumbing problem but this time it's true. Basic stuff I can handle on my own, anything beyond that – had to call in a professional. Mojica is super nice on the phone, can’t stress this because how customer service is always a hassle with so many, not Mojica. Plus they came in, fixed the blockage with the snake wiring thing, AND didn’t leave a mess. They were prompt and didn’t give me any surprise on the bill, which was a surprise!! Do you have a home plumbing need? I recommend them for good customer service, and for service where they know what the heck they’re doing!! A+
