“Dustin came out on Sunday April 26 after 3:00pm to unclog our A/C line. He arrived less than 30 minutes after we called and fixed the problem in a very short period of time. He was very nice and explained in detail what he was going to do. We have used MidCounty Plumbing in the past for a major plumbing job and was very pleased with the work they did!”

We waited about a week just to receive a rough estimate, which came in around $10,000 ( not a small job). Given the size of the project and the fact that we are working with a mortgage company on a rehab loan, we requested a detailed written bid outlining the scope of work and costs. Initially, we were told this would be provided within a few days. However, we were later informed that we would need to pay an additional $500 just for them to return to the property and prepare a detailed estimate. This would bring our total to over $1,000 without any actual repair work being completed. When we questioned this and asked if they were interested in taking on the job, we did not receive a clear answer. For a project of this size, transparency and communication are critical. Charging such a high additional fee simply to provide a detailed bid—especially after already paying for an inspection—feels unreasonable and discouraging. Unfortunately, this experience has led us to look elsewhere for a company that is more straightforward.”
