Hardin Plumbing Company, Inc.

Hardin Plumbing Company, Inc. takes on plumbing jobs in Boerne, Texas. They handle residential and commercial work such as new construction, remodels, and regular service calls across the Texas Hill Country. The company has operated since 1957 with an address at 109 Industrial Dr in Kerrville and keeps staff on call after hours for emergencies. Weekday hours run from eight in the morning until five in the evening while weekends stay closed except for those on-call responses.

Customers have described calls for busted pipes after the Winter Storm Uri when one homeowner had no water for days and needed a same-day visit that wrapped up the repair in four hours despite more snow. Others reported leaks in Aquatherm green pipe systems during the Kerrville freeze that got patched quickly with the right equipment, plus fixes for low water pressure that restored flow. One reviewer named Jeff for strong results on an outstanding job while another noted a repair that held up through later freezing weather.

They tend to show up the same day when called and cover Kerrville plus nearby areas in the Hill Country. Reviewers mentioned quick arrivals even in bad weather but also noted higher rates than some other outfits, bills that arrived handwritten with changes, extra charges for supply runs, and a credit card fee that added sixty-four dollars. One account described two separate jobs where the crew left without notice, left work unfinished, and still asked for payment.

Reviews give mixed feedback on speed during cold weather problems alongside complaints about billing details and unfinished work. DIRT Score 2.8 from 8 reviews on Finds.

“Mine like so many other Texans, water pipes busted during the freak Winter Storm Uri. I had been without water for a few days knowing that 1. No way anyone was going to be able to do any type of work with the weather conditions the way they were & 2. I just knew all plumbers were already flooded with calls. HARDIN PLUMBING SAVED THE DAY. Not only did I call them first thing on Thursday, they were able to get to me before noon. On top of that, the second round of snow was coming down mixed with cold winds. They were able to get everything fixed and running perfect in 4 hours. God Bless them & God Bless HPC! Thank you for all that you do!!!!”

“Hardin Plumbing is the only company in the Hill Country with the specialized equipment to work with Aquatherm Green Pipe which the company that I work for has in our buildings. During the Kerrville Freeze of '21 we had many water leaks in this green pipe and Hardin was able to come out and get us patched up in no time!!”

“Their rates are higher than another plumbing companies I called after getting my bill. I asked several times what the bill was going to be and was told not sure because they do not have the prices with them. I finally got a bill and it was handwritten with alot of white out for the supplies looks like the prices were changed. This invoice should have been tossed and start a clean invoice, very unprofessional. I think they charged me for going and getting the supplies as well. I called today to pay and the invoice noted we now take credit cards. BUT, it does not list the fee associated with using a card. Today, I was told 3.8 % which resulted in an additional $64.00. The sewer pipes that were cut were left with sewage in the pipes, now I'll have to call another plumber to take care of this.”

“We had no water pressure and Harding was able to get us fixed. Sadly I did not get the plumbers name but he was great.”

“I've called other companies and they...."fell short" to put it nicely. Hardin came out that day, fixed it, it's still fixed even after the freezing we had. I will continue to use Hardin.”

“Called em twice for two different jobs and they left both times without informing me, never finished the jobs and still wanted payment, do yourself a favor and call Hager plumbing”

“Outstanding service. Ask for Jeff.”
