Ramirez Plumbing
Plumber · Brownsville, TX
About
Ramirez Plumbing works out of Brownsville Texas as a local crew that handles residential plumbing jobs for houses and rental properties. The team takes calls when pipes break or drains stop working in the area where heat and storms put extra strain on older lines. Mr. Ramirez steps in on emergencies after other plumbers back out and gets crews moving to stop leaks or clear blockages. Homeowners around Brownsville face common issues with clogged lines and sudden water problems that need attention before they turn into bigger messes inside walls or under slabs. The outfit stays focused on basic fixes that keep water running and bathrooms usable without long waits for parts or equipment.
Customers reach out for fast help on pipe repairs and shower clogs and the crew has shown up in thirty minutes to dig a hole and patch a broken line at one house. Marcos answered a call within an hour to work on a shower and handled it with steady hands that got the water flowing again. Mr. Ramirez sent a team to a rental property emergency and they spent time on site to address the issue before leaving. The work often involves quick digging or clearing that finishes in under two hours but some jobs end with the same problem returning the next day after the crew moves on.
Reviews point to strong marks on speed and how fast someone shows up when a call comes in but quality of the repairs draws complaints when the fix fails and no one returns. Communication drops off after payment in several cases leaving homeowners to chase updates that never arrive. Price comes up when work gets done in minutes yet the clog or leak stays and unlicensed help shows up on some jobs. The pattern leaves a low overall mark from mixed results on follow through and lasting fixes. DIRT Score 2.1 from 23 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Extremely Happy with their service. Was recommended by a good friend of mine. I had an emergency with one of my rental properties and Mr. Ramirez was quick to help. Thanks to him and his team for the great work.”
“Good: Super responsive! Bad: The repair didn't last and he ghosted me after getting paid. Called this guy Thursday afternoon after another plumber flaked out on me. He had his guys at my house in about 30 minutes (super stellar!). They worked for an hour and a half to dig a hole, repair a pipe, then they left (Charged me $125 which seemed a little high, but reasonable). Saturday I realize there's water spraying EVERYWHERE. The fix they put in place was overtightened and EXPLODED ... water spraying 10 ft up in the air. Called him, texted, sent him pictures of the water spraying everywhere. No answer at all. I had to redo the entire repair myself ($9.65 in materials) and its now Tuesday evening, still haven't heard back from him. If you don't mind paying $125 for a 1-day repair and not having water afterwards, this is your guy.”
“Sent a unlicensed plumber to do his contract job. Finished job in 5 minutes and was gone. Next day everything was still clogged. He keeps says he is sending someone out but does not. Last 4 days the same thing he will be there this morning but doesnt show. 225 down the clogged drain. Stay away from his company or you will lose your money.”
“Marcos responded within an hour to fix our shower. He was thorough, friendly and service was efficient and skilled. Definitely will be adding Ramirez Plumbing to my contacts.”
“We live in San Antonio Texas and had a vacant rental property that had been 3 months without water in Brownsville Texas. When our new tenants moved in there was a huge water leak in the water heater. We called Mr. Ramirez after hours he and his crew were able to get to our property in about an hour and solve our water leak problem. Service was very friendly and professional.”
