What Customers Say
“Brandenburg Plumbing provided excellent service diagnosing and repairing a water leak for one of my trusted seller clients. The issue was identified quickly, clearly explained, and resolved properly by replacing the leaking valve. Efficient, professional, and done right the first time. Lucas, the owner and master plumber, sets a high standard. His expertise, professionalism, and leadership are evident throughout the process. He takes a methodical, no-nonsense approach and prioritizes quality workmanship. The entire team was professional and respectful, and communication was smooth from start to finish. An honorable mention to Nick McBride, an outstanding journeyman plumber whose skill, attention to detail, and professionalism stood out. For context, I am Chris Cabiya, Founder and Principal Realtor® at Cabiya Realty Group and a local real estate investor serving the Highland Lakes area, including Marble Falls, Horseshoe Bay, and Granite Shoals. I hold service providers to very high standards on behalf of my clients. Brandenburg Plumbing met those standards without hesitation. Highly recommended.”
“We had a very comprehensive evaluation of our plumbing, had the water heater flushed, and Colin gave us a complete review. We are very impressed by Brandenburg Plumbing. We also had an extensive HVAC checkup by Josh who also gave us helpful information and suggestions for maintenance of our system. Would highly recommend their services.”
“I’m extremely disappointed with my overall experience with Brandenburg Plumbing. As someone who lived in Austin for over a decade, I believe strongly in supporting local businesses—but this is not the way you treat your community. To be fair, the quality of their work has generally been good. The issue is their pricing—it’s simply unreasonable. I now own a rental property in the area and rely heavily on their honesty and fair pricing since I’m managing it from out of state. Over the past two years, I’ve spent well over $10,000 with them across 4–6 service calls. I’m also fully aware they have great reviews—that’s exactly why I chose them in the first place. But after multiple experiences, I can’t help but feel those reviews are likely coming from one-time customers, not from someone who has had to rely on them repeatedly and see the pattern over time. In February 2026, we had a leak in an outdoor faucet pipe. The repair involved replacing a very small section of pipe located very close to the faucet. I was initially quoted an unreasonably high price, and the $600 I ultimately paid was only after I pushed back and requested a discount. Given the urgency, I felt I had no real choice but to move forward. Fast forward two months later, and now the faucet head itself is cracked and leaking. When I asked the technician the cost of the part, he told me $35. I was then quoted $430 for the repair. I called Mike, a manager I’ve worked with before, and said plainly: “You can’t charge someone over $400 for a $35 part.” His response was, “You’re right, I don’t have to do the job at all…” That level of customer service—especially after the amount of business I’ve given them—is unacceptable. I even told him I could fly to Austin and fix it myself for less. His response? “No you can’t.” It came off as dismissive and borderline arrogant—like a take-it-or-leave-it attitude, knowing full well I don’t have many options managing a property remotely. After multiple attempts to have a reasonable conversation, I ended the call before it escalated further. I made it clear I’d be leaving a review, and it was obvious he didn’t care. Again, the work itself has been solid—but the pricing is out of touch, and the customer service in this situation was unacceptable. I supported this company because I believed in local businesses, but this experience feels like taking advantage of a customer who doesn’t have the ability to shop around easily.”
“Super expensive for any kind of small work and not every technician is good to fix the problem. You really have to be lucky to get good one assigned. We feel like things that can fixable with no parts are forced to buy new parts and make another visit and delay getting things done. I would not recommend, there should be reliable , experienced and trustworthy company where every employee hold onto it.”
“We had a completely new air conditioner system installed. Josh was incredible. He explained everything and worked all day with his team. Everything went smoothly and the area was left spotless. Josh is professional and friendly!”
