Josh Mintz Plumbing LLC

Josh Mintz Plumbing LLC operates as a family-owned licensed plumbing contractor based in Fort Smith. They focus on residential and commercial work across Fort Smith, Northwest Arkansas, and Eastern Oklahoma. The company handles calls from homeowners and businesses when pipes burst or systems fail without warning. Their territory covers both city homes and rural properties where access can complicate repairs. Daily work involves everything from quick fixes in kitchens to full system checks in offices and shops. This setup lets them serve a wide mix of customers who need reliable help without waiting days for a truck to show up.

Josh Mintz Plumbing LLC takes on residential plumbing jobs like fixing leaks and installing new fixtures along with commercial drain cleaning for businesses that cannot afford downtime. They perform water heater installation and repair to keep hot water flowing in houses and offices. Drain cleaning and hydro jetting clear stubborn blockages in main lines that regular snakes cannot reach. Crews show up prepared with the right tools for the job and work through the issue until water runs clean again. Homeowners in the area often call when tree roots invade lines or old pipes crack from ground shifts. The team handles both emergency visits and planned upgrades without dragging the project out longer than needed.

Fort Smith winters can freeze exposed pipes while summer heat stresses water heaters and seals. Local plumbers see frequent calls for burst lines in older neighborhoods and clogged drains from heavy rains washing debris into systems. Customers count on fast arrival times during these breakdowns, solid repairs that hold up without repeat visits, straight talk on costs before work starts, and updates throughout the job so no one wonders what comes next. These steady habits build trust over time in a trade where shortcuts show up fast. DIRT Score 4.56 from 32 reviews on Finds.

“I wish there were more than 5 stars--I cannot say enough positive things about Josh Mintz Plumbing! My family recently moved into a fixer upper and our contractor installed a tankless water heater in the kitchen closet. When I complained about the excessive heat and smells it produced, he "vented" it using the previous standing tank's exhaust. After nearly a week, we were still having problems so we started looking into it, only to discover he had installed an OUTDOOR unit! I turned to the internet and found Josh Mintz plumbing, who I called first thing the next morning. Thankfully, he had an opening to come take a look a few hours later. Upon arrival, he IMMEDIATELY realized the danger we were in, and made arrangements to remove the improper unit right then. He and his crew replaced it wi”

“I highly recommend Josh Mintz Plumbing! They handled a major installation at my home with outstanding professionalism from start to finish. Josh’s communication was excellent — he kept me updated every step of the way, explained the process clearly (including coordinating utility locates and flags), and was super responsive via text, even accommodating my schedule and payment options. The crew — including Joe and Jordan — was fantastic: prompt (arrived right on time at 8am), hardworking, respectful of my property, and they got the job done efficiently while ensuring everything was perfect. Great people, great service — I’ll definitely call them again for any plumbing needs! Thanks, Josh and team!”

“We had one of Water Heater start to leak and we needed service right away. We called Josh and he was extremely helpful, the consummate professional, and he came to our rescue just when we needed it most. We are Extremely Happy with his customer service and Josh's response time was outstanding and amazing. If and when we have another plumbing issue our first call or text will be to Josh Mintz Plumbing. In this day and age of lackadaisical customer service, Josh demonstrated the professionalism and dedication of a true craftsman of his trade. We would highly and enthusiastically recommend Josh Mintz Plumbing to anyone needing a Great Job at a fair and reasonable price. If we could give Josh a higher than a Five Star Rating we most certainly would!!!”

“Josh and his team did a great job finding a leak and had it fixed within 24 hours. They gave us options on how to fix it and were so transparent and helpful with each option. They let my kids watch and were so easy to work with.”

“It's always tough when you're new to an area and in need of precision, high quality workmanship. That's the situation we found ourselves in after purchasing a ranch that lacked gas lines, and needed upgrades to the existing plumbing. These are items nobody wants to leave to chance with an unknown plumber. We feel ridiculously blessed to have been led to check out Josh Mintz Plumbing. Josh was thorough, knowledgeable, and brought a fresh eye to our project. After accepting his very fair bid, Josh arrived right on time with a dream team. Every member of his 4-man crew was respectful & professional. Josh and his team REALLY know their stuff! Nothing was left to chance. The project was completed right on schedule. And I'm not sure I've EVER hired a plumbing company that left my property clea”

“I contacted Josh when we had a problem with our bathtub, after living in our home since 1980, the drain in the tub had rusted away. Josh came to the house, when he was finished with another job that evening. We discussed what I was thinking about doing, replacing the existing bathtub, and the old plumbing fixtures for that tub, changing out the surround for the bathtub and also replacing the faucet in our kitchen sink. We had to order the surround for the bathtub, which took some time to arrive, but when we had everything ready, I contacted Josh again, to get our project scheduled, which he was able to schedule within a few days of being contacted. He gave me a quote and a date for when he would start on our project. The snow storm hit and the roads got slick, so we postponed the project f”

“We had Joe from Josh Mintz plumbing come out (who’s been working as a plumber since 1979, so he’s got a bit of experience! 😃), and he removed our old dishwasher and installed a new one. He had the whole thing done in 45 minutes, and made sure to put back everything as good as new! He was a real professional, and was very courteous, including in the way he showed care for our home. It’s just really nice to have someone come and do such a solid job these days - especially when you don’t know what you’re getting into with handymen so often. Thank you, Joe, and Josh Mintz Plumbing, for doing such solid, reliable (and affordable!) work in this day and age of uncertainty! 😃👍”

We had an issue on Christmas day. When answering our call, Josh provided options and we decided to have him come out for service. He arrived quickly, which means on Christmas Day. He left his family to come help a customer. Once he arrived, he provided great communication and tackled the job quickly. Great service. I highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Fast, friendly, would completely recommend !! He come out on a pouring, rainy Saturday evening and cleaned out a clogged drain, was completely soaked and still so very nice!”

“Josh Mintz showed up in force with three trucks and four plumbers the day after we called. They removed two hot water heaters and set us up with a beautiful Navian tankless water heater that no doubt will increase the resale value of our home. The Navian is the jewel in the crown. We were only without water for a day thanks to their lightning quick response. I will call them again for any future plumbing jobs. Highly recommended.”
