What Customers Say
“Binion Plumbing did a great job with my plumbing repair! Fast, reliable, fair prices! Highly recommend them!”
“I called about having a garbage disposal replaced and an issue with a toilet running. I was given a reasonable quote and they came out the next day and were very prompt. The men that arrived were very polite and professional. They did the work quickly and cleaned up when they were finished. Excellent service, I highly recommend!”
“Called the at 10:00, there were here by 11:30. The diagnosed the problem(slow drain line), and worked to resolve the issue. They would up locating and cleaning out the sewer line, not an easy task in an older home and it was 90+ degrees outside. Mark had his apprentices on top of the job. We are relatively new in the area. Binion came referred from my church and the referral is well deserved. Mark and his crew were polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. 2 hours of work and very reasonable on price. They are my go to plumbing guys here in Weatherford.”
“I needed a shower fixture replaced so I called Binion Plumbing who was referred by a friend. I bought the fixture at Home Depot that was very similar to the one I wanted replaced. The plumber showed up with an assistant who looked fairly new to the job and replaced the fixture in about an hour. I had an easy access point to the plumbing behind the shower and it seemed like a fairly routine job. When he finished he presented me a bill for $340.56. When I asked why it was so much he just said it was for the service charge and parts. The service charge was $262.50, $72.11 for parts which included $2 for pipe dope and $1 for grease and tax of $5.95. I assume the service charge included the labor. I didn’t ask for an estimate but I guess I should have. I probably would have gotten the standard answer of “we won’t know until we get in there and see what we need to do.”. Next time I will at least get the cost of the service charge and labor. Even if it took two hours, I was charged $262.50, that’s $131.25 an hour. It seemed to be a one man job but there were two people working and one of them seemed to be someone who he was training. I guess they did a satisfactory job but next time I think I’ll try one of those on-line services where you can get referrals and a couple of bids. I initially wasn’t going to say much about it but when I was telling the friend who referred Binion she said that was outrageous and I ought to complain about it.”
“We hired these guys to do some new Plumbing work through our house we were quoted $1,500 to $2,000. They showed up went to work most the time one guy said the truck while one guy worked the whole time but I'm the end of the job was done they did a great job Plumbing wise but my cost was $700 more than what I expected. According to them they charge 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after so charged three additional hours for driving time the other two hours they could not explain to work out where that came from not only that when they brought the tub and they scratch my floors. In my opinion I would not hire anybody who does hourly work I would hire somebody who gives me a rate based on what I need done and I pay for that. I'm not sure why they charge an extra 30 minutes before and after because they're pulling a trailer they are needed to do work there work.”
