About
North Hills Plumbing works out of North Richland Hills, Texas, and has covered plumbing needs across the Dallas Fort Worth area since 1987. They stick to residential and commercial jobs that range from simple leak fixes to full pipe replacements in homes built decades ago. Local homeowners in spots like Fort Worth, Arlington, and Southlake reach out when water heaters quit or sewage lines back up. The crew uses basic tools like cameras and pressure tests to find problems in slabs or cast iron runs, then moves straight to repairs without adding extra layers. Their long stretch in North Texas gives them a clear read on the wear and tear that comes with older galvanized lines and shifting soil.
They handle water heater installation and replacement for both tank and tankless models, along with sewer line clearing and hydrostatic testing. On heavy projects such as cast iron pipe repair that requires cutting concrete and running new lines to the street, technicians Vance and Marcus manage the digging and connections. Same-day calls often lead to quick shower diverter swaps at reasonable cost, while Blake has tracked down rare parts for 30-year-old tub faucets and finished installs in hours without tearing walls. Leak detection work covers slab issues and sewage lines, and they also take on kitchen and bath remodels that include toilet replacements, faucet work, and repiping for fridges or washers in both houses and small commercial spots like restaurants.
Homeowners rate the outfit high for quick response times when a call comes in and for keeping charges in line with the actual work needed. Feedback points to reliable fixes on dripping fixtures and pipe jobs that avoid turning into drawn-out messes, plus steady communication on what the repair will take. Even with one note about a tool issue on a sewage line job, the pattern shows crews that arrive when promised and wrap up without surprise costs. This holds up across the DFW service area where weather and age create frequent pipe troubles. DIRT Score 4.83 from 73 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Because my daughter had such a good experience a few years ago with a similar problem (though hers was much more extensive), we just used North Hills plumbing on a large cast iron pipe repair/replace job that involved digging and cutting concrete for new line to the street. Vance and Marcus communicated with us along the way. They did a super job beginning to end, it was done well, on schedule and was finished and cleaned up and backfilled with care. We would definitely hire them again in the future.”
“North Hill Plumbing was fantastic to work with. They were able to come out the same day I called to replace a shower diverter, and their pricing was very reasonable. After the repair, we later discovered a leaking issue. It turned out there was a plastic piece attached to the diverter we had purchased, which was not obvious during the initial installation. Once the issue was identified, they came back very quickly, fixed it right away, and did not charge me additional labor even though it wasn’t their fault as we bought the parts. It’s hard to find companies that are this responsive, honest, and customer oriented. They truly care about their customers and stand behind their work. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them.”
“I have a new plumbing service! I wasn’t optimistic that our two dripping 30+ year old tub faucets could be repaired without tearing out walls.NHills Plumbing was prompt to respond and showed up on time. Blake went above and beyond to find the parts and had them installed in a matter of hours. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, professional and beyond responsive. So nice dealing with real people like Blake and LeAnna (not AI!) who actually know what they’re doing! We’ve already asked for another estimate on another job - Thank you, North Hills Plumbing🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”
“Run from this company! I used this company to locate a leak in my sewage line. Within minutes of arriving at my house they got a plumbing ball stuck in my sewage line. They spent the next 3-4 hour bashing my cast iron sewage line with a sewer clean out tool. They said they would have to tunnel to get the ball out. They returned the next day to excavate. They sent the same plumbers to excavate and not hire a professional dig crew. They let me know they would dig under my foundation footer, instead they chiseled through my footer with a jack hammer and cut the rebar doing permanent damage to my foundation (this was affirmed by multiple plumbers, foundation repair companies Ava a stuctual engineer). They tunneled a few feet underneath my foundation. They told me they removed the ball. I didn't trust their work so I had another company come out to run a camera. They never removed the ball and instead left a large hole stuffed with a rag so water could escape. I gave videos and photos to Vance Tim (North hills operations manager). He refused to take responsibility for what his employees did and instead demanded i pay for all the shoddy work they did. It costs me 1000s of dollars to fix damage they did to my home. All other contractors were totally baffled by what they did. Vance Tim threatened to sue me if i left a bad review.”
“Vance and his team were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Vance described all parts of the process and was very informative. The crew did a great job on locating and repairing my slab leak and left the area cleaner than it was before they arrived! And their pricing is very fair. In a world where it feels easy to be duped by businesses, it's refreshing to work with a team who do quality work for a very fair price.”
