“Only reason for 2 stars is because they showed up in a very reasonably time. However he comes says he needs the water box excavated if we were to do it would be very costly. If we were to do it the repair would be easy and cheap. He leaves. I have it excavated with ample room. I used a mini excavator had it ready. He comes back out makes the repair and I get the bill 410$. I get it. I’m in the contracting business myself. He said it took him 90 mins which is very hard to believe. Parts were 100$ which adding it all up from a consumer point from Lowe’s it came out to 57$ rounded up and that’s buying 20’ sticks of pipe when in reality he needed a total of 5’ of 3/4” and 8” of 1.5” that would be almost a 50% markup on materials alone. Then comes the 85$ service charge which most people put that to the price of the repair/ labor if you do do the repair. He does not. Then you add the 225$ for labor. Please tell me that it took and experienced plumber 90 mins to do this job”

“James was quick, courteous, and got the job done with ease. We've got a place out in the country where building codes and standards don't exist. Iykyk. James came in figured out wth the builder Mickey mouse, and then fixed it to be the way it is supposed to be. And did it right the first time unlike the last plumber I called. I will definitely call him for my next plumbing problem.”

“I feel bad for not reviewing Dixie sooner! Back after Winter Storm Yuri in 2021, Dixie came out and replaced some spigots for me. It was still bitter cold and they'd been all over East Texas that day, probably providing others with 5-star plumbing service, but he fit me in at the end of the day and did a better job than I expected, for a better price than he'd estimated to me over the phone. Nobody hopes to need a plumber, but if you do ever need one, Dixie should be your choice! I've referred them multiple times to people who've asked, and will continue to vouch for James and anybody he has in his employ.”
