“From the start, Ryan came to do an estimate. I saw how professional he was, measuring and checking the electrical requirements to this AC install. Gave a good point on a bigger unit than what I have currently. The thing that made me go with Berkey’s, is that the estimate quote was the honest price he gave from the start. I had 3 other companies that came, but was all higher in price. Plus the main was the Brand Lennox. The other companies gave me other lower end brand with a higher price quote. So when Ryan gave me this quote, it’s already lower than the competitors and with the Lennox brand! That sealed the deal.. This is the only company that you should call for all your AC needs. I got the New AC install the NEXT day! They are true with there slogan, “Where there when you need us” it was Hot and didn’t want my tenant to suffer.. They came in the morning, done at 1pm.. He took the time to explain everything and made sure the repair was done correctly. The office staff was also wonderful to work with—very friendly, great communication, and they sent a follow-up text with the appointment information and details about the technician who would be arriving, which I really appreciated. Our water heater was still under warranty, and Berkeys handled everything exactly as they should have, and the repair ended up costing us $0. It was a very smooth and easy process. “I called Berkeys yesterday to repair a dead A/C unit, and they responded within two hours. Zach Thomas found a defective capacitor, replaced it and I was cool within a few minutes. Thanks Zach! “Had the power go out to one of my bedrooms. Our breaker had tripped a couple of times in the last couple of weeks. Not sure why. Might've been overdrawn from us bringing a space heater into that room. Either way, space heater was out of this room when this happened. Power shut off. Breaker was in the on position still. I assumed it was a bad breaker switch so I stopped by, picked one up, and swapped it out. Didn't fix it. Called Berkey's and was able to utilize their after hours appointments for an additional fee, $140 for non-MVP members. ($99 for MVP members) Chris Kohr was my tech and he was a straight shooter. Very transparent and super helpful. He went through the steps and even showed me where I screwed up on the breaker switch install. Whoops! Ultimately found an outlet in the room that had a black burn mark on the outlet cover. Sure enough, that sucker was burnt to a crisp. I'm just glad it wasn't worse. Sounds like my breaker was unable to trip itself again. TLDR Older homes with metal boxes around the outlets/switches. If you upgrade those yourself, add electrical tape around the new switch/outlet to avoid possible contact with those metal boxes from things shifting. Be”

“I can’t say enough good things about Berkey’s, KP, and their team of salaried (NOT commissioned) HVAC techs! They give you sound advice, suggestions and recommendations regarding any HVAC issues you may be facing - without the pressure of having to make an on-the-spot decision that you don’t feel comfortable making. They are super thorough in their assessments and you feel good knowing that you can trust their advice. My heater would blow cold air - I’ve had 3 different HVAC companies through my home warranty take a look and none of them could provide a fix. Turns out the Nest thermostat needed to be replaced with a Honeywell T6, and as soon as we made the change, everything magically worked! Best part, they didn’t charge me a stupid service call fee that would not go towards the cost of repairs! Instead, I signed up for their VIP Membership for like $20/mo and have them on speed dial in case I have any HVAC, electrical or plumbing issues - I get next day (not next week, we’re too busy, and gonna charge you a service call fee) service. I feel you get the backing of a big company, not a fly by night, solo tech working from his truck, or moonlighter - these guys are trustworthy an”

“Great and professional service. The guy was very polite and efficient and capable. Still Berkeys is the highest price operator I have encountered. If I owned the company, I would love them. They always try to upsell when they come. It might be an insulation cover for your attic door leading to the roof, or some light purifier $3k on your system, or soft-start $900 or quickstart $400, add-on to the HVAC system they sold. To me, this is not bad, it is just like dealing with a car dealership, you are going to pay too much, but it will be done well and turnkey. There will be no real input of necessary or could wait. I would just suggest taking their quotes, doing more research and getting bids. I kind of admire the company for aggressively chasing revenue out of customers like me. I do trust their work quality.”

“I used a few ac companies here in DFW. And haven’t experienced this level of professionalism in a while. I found Berkeys through Home Depot as their authorized contractor. My 1st experience was with Christian Lopez and i was very impressed with his communication to clear a drain line. He was extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The final report had videos, pictures, and full explanations of issues and resolutions. The typical report from other AC companies are 1 or 2 blurry pictures and very little explanations to the homeowner. Then I had this experience repeated multiple times with different technicians, from Robert Reece to Kimball to Seth on different properties. “I contacted Berkeys to check on my water pressure. I was in need of a new pressure reducing valve as well as a water heater expansion tank. Nathan Hinte was sent. He is the absolute best! He was personable as well as very knowledgeable about what was needed. He explained it to where I could understand. He went above and beyond. My pressure is so much better. I never knew it was that bad. He also fixed my water meter rank to where it is now level to the ground. He really made my day! I added Berkeys to my contact list for future issues. “Our new "smart" thermostat was not doing what I wanted. After a couple months of me trying to get it to do what I wanted I called Berkeys. The HVAC tech came and showed me how to schedule what I wanted. Since he was done so fast, I pointed out another issue. A return vent was making a lot of noise. “My initial request was for my annual plumbing inspection (i.e. Berkey's Exclusive Membership Plan). I expanded this opportunity to include the replacement of my kitchen sink faucet. This was our first experience with Berkey's All-In-One program, and we were a little apprehensive. On the day of my scheduled appointment, I was pleased to receive advanced notice of the tech's arrival time and a photo of my technician, Eric Brunken. Eric was outstanding. He was courteous, articulate and well organized. After a quick review of the pending task, he immediately began evaluating the state of my plumbing system and developed a plan of action. Eric performed quality assurance tests on my entire system, flushed two water heaters and replaced my sink faucet. In addition, he removed all debris and cleaned the workspace before closing out the project. My wife and I could not be happier. We highly recommend Eric Brunken for your next plumbing project.”
