Second Opinion Plumbing LLC

Second Opinion Plumbing LLC is based in Gilbert, TX and focuses on plumbing work for local homeowners. They run as a full service company that provides same day service from their team of plumbers. Straightforward pricing means no guesswork on costs and they give free estimates on every job that comes in. Common jobs include water heater repair and installation for both standard tanks and tankless units plus water line repair and install along with sump pump services and gas line installation for houses in the area. This covers bathroom and kitchen plumbing services as well to keep everything flowing right.

Plumbers from the company show up to handle drain and sewer problems including water leak detection, slab leak repair, drain cleaning, sewer video inspection, and sewer line repairs when pipes burst or clog. They tackle gas line installation and sump pump services by locating the issue first then fixing it in one visit without extra charges added later. In Gilbert the summer heat and occasional freezes put extra strain on lines and water heaters so crews focus on quick checks with video tools to spot trouble underground or under slabs before it floods a yard or basement. Homeowners call them for kitchen and bathroom upgrades too where old fixtures get swapped out for new ones that hold up better against daily use.

Customers keep coming back because the crew moves fast on same day calls, sticks to clear prices that do not change mid job, and explains each step without jargon so the work matches what was promised. Quality shows in how they finish repairs on water lines and drains without callbacks, while communication stays direct from the first estimate through cleanup. That combination of speed, fair cost, and solid results builds the kind of record that stands out for plumbing in this part of Texas. DIRT Score 4.79 from 287 reviews on Finds.

“This company went ABOVE AND BEYOND. We had tree roots grow into our sewer line causing sewage to periodically back up into the house. We got a quote from Second Opinion and one other company. Not only was Second Opinion's price more reasonable, their inspection was very thorough and they called blue stake out before giving us a quote so we knew they had all the information before starting the project. The owner was incredibly kind and great to work with. He and his apprentice showed up right on time, were very professional, and explained everything he was going to do. He was careful working around our drip lines and left the front yard spotless afterwards. This was a big job that we were dreading getting done but they made it surprisingly painless. We've owned this house for 8 years and ha”

“Kyle and Wyatt came out to repair my sewer line and did a fantastic job! Their crew finished everything in just a couple of hours and offered a very generous warranty on their work. I had asked for quotes from three plumbers since I knew I would need help with my sewer line. Second Opinion was the only plumber that offered to repair the pipe (cure in place seal) rather than replace it, which would involve digging up a good portion of my yard. Their price to repair was better by far than quote from the other plumbers, and I have great peace of mind with a 25 year warranty on their work.”

“Wyatt from Second Opinion Plumbing did an excellent job flushing my water heater. He was professional and took the time to explain each step of the process as he worked. I really appreciate how patient he was in answering my questions and showing me how to properly maintain my water heater. Thank you Wyatt!”

“Best plumbing company hands down!! I have used this company over a handful of times. From water softener, to drainage leaks to sink replacement etc etc. Jessie is super friendly and helpful and we refuse to use anyone else. They are very reasonable to compared to other sketchy companies out there. He goes above and beyond every time we've needed him! Thank you so much for your help once again today with Wade!”

“I was so glad I had 2nd Opinion come out to get our bathtub drain, overflow cap and a new cartridge installed. Charles Harvey was a great tech and was very knowledgeable and even explained what he was doing. Upon completing the job the bathtub area was cleaned exactly as it was before he arrived. Thanks again for the professional service.”

“Joe Buschnell did an excellent job replacing two valves in our home. He was professional, honest, and his workmanship was top-notch. What impressed me most was how trustworthy he was—I felt completely confident in his recommendations and the quality of his work. Highly recommend Joe for any plumbing needs!”

“I have used 2nd Opinion Plumbing for several projects and they were excellent. The unclogged a drain, installed a reverse osmosis system, installed a water softener, installed 2 faucets and a scheduled to install 2 toilets. Not the cheapest, but if you want it done right with real professionals, this is the company. I completely trust my plumbing technician, Joe Bushnell. He is knowledgeable and provides great advice that with an eye toward value and reliability, not hype.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Town of Gilbert told me I used 90k gallons of water in 30 days — a major leak! It turned out to be my 70’ service line, mostly under concrete. I got quotes from three plumbers, and Kyle at Second Option Plumbing was the only one who gave me a firm price and clear plan. He recommended replacing the old corroded pipe with a new PEX line instead of patching it. The job came out perfect, on time, and exactly as quoted. Kyle was honest, professional, and responsive. Highly recommend Second Option Plumbing!”

“Joe from Second Opinion Plumbing was great! He quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue with my Reverse Osmosis system, and I really appreciated that he didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. Joe earned our future business, and I highly recommend Second Opinion for your plumbing needs.”
