Jeremiah deserves a raise for integrity. He was prompt, honest and knowledgeable. Will return next time an issue arises.

I do not recommend them, based on their pricing and ethics and even their work! We had just bought a new home in a new area and had no referrals, so they were who we picked after a plumbing leak had been discovered while having work done on our foundation. The foundation folks originally offered to make the simple repair themselves, then ran out of time and had to leave for another job. We got an estimate from Pruitt, 3-4 hours of work at a cost of $600. It sounded a little high, but within range based on our research (we'd never hired a plumber before), so we agreed. Well they came and did the work and were under the house less than an hour, yaay! So we expected a much lower bill, however when the bill came, it was still for $600! I reached out to inquire, sure that it would be adjusted, and I let the office manager know they were here under an hour, and I was later sent an adjusted bill for $425, with the comment "didn't take as long". That's when I started to become very concerned, and asked for their specific hourly rate. I was told "this was a bid job, and not broken down hourly". I explained I didn't know what a "bid job" was, again informed them of the time the men actually worked under the house (after finishing, my husband observed them sitting in their vehicle until the hour was up, then driving away). At this point I asked for photos and more of an explanation, and this time they said it was because the men had to deal with "raw sewage". The thing is though that no one who'd been under our house, including their person who did their original estimate, the foundations repairs folks who found the leak, nor the ones who came to do the work ever mentioned any "raw sewage". Again, we'd just had work on the foundation, they found the leak (which they described as small), and this was followed by the inspector who came a week or so after the foundation lifting to make sure everything was alright. He did extensive testing on out plumbing system, pressure testing and everything. He confirmed the original leak we'd been informed of, and an additional small leak (describing the situation as a bit of dripping that we would need to take care of), and again, no mention of "raw sewage". He passed us despite the two small leaks because Pruitt was scheduled to come out the following day. After Pruitt finished repairing the two small leaks, they claimed we needed extensive work, replacement of all sewer lines, and gave us a quote of $4,000! They later even sent us a photo supposedly taken under our house with an entire section of pipe missing! Really?!? Pipe missing?!? And the inspector somehow missed that the day before??? He had probably been under our house 4-6 times that day checking out EVERYTHING. I'm sure he, the original foundation folks, and the original estimator from Pruitt would have noticed if there was actually a section of pipe missing (as well as "raw sewage"). So after explaining all of this to their office manager, they still would not come down lower than the adjusted $425. And as for any additional repairs, we called a handyman and he had to seal pipes that somehow Pruitt had missed, and checked out everything else, and his total cost was under $100 ($75 for the call, plus the cost of the sealant)! So dealing with Pruitt Plumbing turned out to be a complete waste of time and money. And the fact that they gave an estimate of $4,000 for work that wasn't needed, just shows what kind of business they're running. Save yourselves the money and frustration and choose someone else!

The plumber and receptionist were kind and professional. However, the plumber did not believe I had an active water leak and recommended I get a tile worker to fix the issue. I was skeptical and got a second opinion and that plumber found an active water leak and fixed it. Again, these are nice folks and this is only one experience.

I have used Pruitt Plumbing several times and they have always had great service with a very reasonable price. I will always recommend them.

It seems Herman Pruitt plumbing cannot keep its word. They tell you they are going to come and you wait ALL DAY and you never seem them nor hear from them! I had hoped to use this company because of the reputation it once had. BUT NOT NOW! Avoid Pruitt Plumbing!!!
