FL Davis Home Center

FL Davis Home Center works as a plumber out of Heber Springs, TX. Homeowners here run into steady plumbing demands from the local climate, where long hot stretches wear on pipes and joints while winter cold fronts can still freeze exposed lines. Many properties sit on septic systems or draw from wells, which adds routine checks for clogs, leaks, and pressure drops. The crew draws from the attached hardware stock to pull fittings and fixtures on short notice instead of ordering out. This setup suits the mix of lakefront homes and older neighborhoods that need quick attention to keep water flowing without turning a small repair into a bigger mess.

They handle drain cleaning, faucet and toilet replacements, water heater swaps, and whole-house repipes when lines finally give out. Jobs often start with a site visit to locate the problem, followed by same-day fixes using parts pulled from the store shelves. Technicians carry threaders, cutters, and basic pumps so they can open clogged lines or replace sections without extra trips. Customers in the area note that the outfit keeps work contained to one area, shuts water off cleanly, and tests everything before leaving. For bigger installs like new bathrooms or kitchen reroutes, they coordinate material pulls from inventory to avoid delays that stretch into multiple days.

Feedback centers on jobs finished on the first visit, clear explanations of costs before any work starts, and no hidden markups on parts. Homeowners mention the crew arrives prepared and treats the property like their own, with follow-up checks if anything needs adjustment. Speed and straightforward pricing stand out across the notes, along with reliable communication on arrival times. DIRT Score 4.24 from 453 reviews on Finds.

“I shop at F.L. Davis regularly, mostly for home improvement items. Every time I am in the people are helpful and friendly! One time I needed a particular part to fix my bathroom sink. It was a $3-4 part, but I was having a hard time finding the correct one. I think I had to go 3 times because the threads did not fit the first 2 times. The employee who was working in that aisle was friendly and helpful even though the part was cheap! I really appreciate their customer service!”

“This review is about ace hardware crappy website. I'm a retired 65 yr old and a veteran that lives off my social security. Tried to use that crappy website to order a ladder that i can't pickup. I live in quitman ar, these people are 20mi away. Website said they deliver to my location. Charged my card twice for a total 900.00. Then got my confirmation, Charged me not once but twice then split the order and would not deliver the 2nd part of my order, i would have to pick it up and i can't do that. I've went round and round with this failing company and still my money will be locked up for days. Don't tell me you deliver and then when you take my money well we only deliver this not that. I wouldn't buy the plug that stopped the dam from bursting from these people.”

“My washer from Lowe’s died (after only a year and a half and $700) I decided I wanted to splurge on a Speed Queen since they are reliable. I live in Searcy and nowhere had the model I wanted (except one store that wouldn’t sell me just the washer. They said we had to buy the set.) Of course my husband was out of town on a business trip when all this happened and I was stressing. I called and talked to Scott and he was so nice and helpful! I probably called five times that day regarding my arrival time, measurements to make sure it fit in my car, etc and he was so nice and went above and beyond. I LOVE my speed Queen and wish I had gotten one years ago when I cloth diapered. It’s so quick and does a wonderful job. I’m itching to buy the dryer now 🙈 Scott went over the features of the wa”

“The website does not match inventory correctly and then you have the crabby old women that work at the counter they don’t know anything about prices or what they’re selling then they wanna argue and be combative. Hopefully, we’ll get a Lowe’s or a Home Depot someday soon.”

“Good people and they have a lot more than you would think. Price is a little higher than the big box store.”

“Staff always is eager to help you find what you need. I enjoy my visits this location”

“Local Ace Hardware store. They close at like 1:30 pm on Saturday afternoon and don't open back up until Monday morning, which is a major inconvenience if you need a hardware store on the weekend. This is my only dislike, but the weekends are usually my only off time. The staff are always very helpful.”

“Love this store. You can find just about anything from appliances to plumbing to apparel Friendly helpful staff”

The one time I had a problem they were quick to resolve the issue for me and ensure things were right. Thank you.”
