What Customers Say
“If you need someone to do the heavy lifting for a fire water main, these are the guys! We've done business with them since 2013 without a hitch! Would not hesitate to refer them as they will get it done. Regarding liens and such as the previous reviewer, construction can be brutal to use a lot of material and labor. We all have to pay for the parts and our techs even when we don't get paid. While it can be embarrassing if a subcontractor pulls the trigger early on the lien notice, we have all been hurt a few times and wished we had not been late in filing the lien. With Fire Main you know you're dealing with experience and a company that has the experience dealing with all the red tape from many jurisdictions.”
“This was the first time we used this company. *Pros: They were readily available once our PO was issued and had the job finished in a timely manner. *Cons: They are not respectful of the Mechanic's Lien time line issued by the State of Texas. Per Texas' Property Code Section 53: work done in June, if not paid - the GC (which would be us) should be sent an Intent to Lien Notice by August 15th - the Property Owner (our customer) is not due to receive an Intent to Lien Notice until the first half of September, Sept. 15 at the latest. HOWEVER, this Vendor had an Attorney send an Intent to Lien to our Customer a month prematurely, which caused unnecessary stress all around! 1) we never received his invoice to begin with, just a call on August 12th threatening a Lien on our Customer 2) payment was only 16 days past the Net Terms 3) payment from our customer had already been sent and in transit to us 4) proof of payment was provided to the Vendor on the same day the Lien Notice was mailed. We are not against sending Lien Notices, we are thankful for the option to lien and actually welcome our Vendors helping us send Lien Notices to help us collect from customers that are not paying, but the ordeal caused by this Vendor was all but professional and respectable. We will NOT be doing business with this Vendor again.”
“This owner of this company runs people of the road intentionally. I was driving down 99 South and a he pulled in front of me a slamed on his brake's. I had to going the grass to avoid hitting him. It caused my dog to be thrown around in the car. Then when I tried to catch up to him he drove over 100 mph to get away. Finally when traffic slowed him down, I was able to get the name on the side of his truck. "FIRE MAIN SOULTIONS". I CALLED AND AS TO SPEAK TO THE OWNER BUT THEY SAID HE WASN'T THERE BUT THE WOULD HAVE HIM CALL ME BACK. HE HAS NEVER CALLED ME. They are allowing a very dangerous man to drive the company vehicle!”
