I called and asked if someone could come by and look at it and the man said he would for $600 and stayed he didnt touch the water dial even though it had to be turned on to see if the shower part would work. He very rudely told me it was my problem because it was old. Honestly would have been best. He should have stated it could break the other part. There's no need to be rude to customers. If he had been a calmer and nicer, I would probably have paid him to fix what he clearly broke.”

“UPDATE: Received a call asking to take down the review. That they are a small family business with one plumber, and this type of review hurts their business. I was told that the quote I received was worst case scenario, and that someone was set and ready to come out. What I recommended was to state the premium emergency fee - then cost will be evaluated at the time of visit (which will be considered perhaps). That said - buyer beware (with any similar company service visit), as if they still aren't in your budget...you pay the premium fee. That's something I and you should take into consideration. I reviewed other lower reviews and there does seem to be a common thread, and that is mostly the price point. Therefore, I think my experience is not unique. They told me on the phone to paraphrase - they are more expensive than bigger brands. I guess "Affordable" is a matter of perspective.
