“I had Spore Plumbing replace my gas water heater, and the experience has left me with several concerns. The installation was left looking unfinished and questionable. There is a rectangular hole cut in the drywall near the water heater that was left open, and there is also visible wall damage outside of the water heater area where paint and texture were removed during the installation. None of this was mentioned or addressed. There are also added parts/pipes that were never clearly explained, the drip pan does not appear to have a visible drain line, and the expansion tank looks poorly supported. Since this is a gas water heater, I expected the work to be handled carefully and explained clearly. I have also been trying to get the installation inspected. I was told the city inspector was”

Water heater replacement is always expensive, but they did an AMAZING job with the installation. They even revamped part of the gas line, drain, and ventilation to bring it all up to current standards. A few weeks later, I noticed a leak near our water main valve at the street. It turned out to be a poorly installed T joint where the original PVC was bowed badly, causing the T to split. The same guys came out for this repair. They worked for several hours to dig around the area and replace the whole section with PEX for some flexibility. It was another expensive job, but they did a great job fixing someone else's mist”

At $165 per hour it seems expensive but so is everything else. I feel like it’s a bargain in that others told me the valve would have to be replaced at a cost of hundreds of dollars.”

“These guys are great. American Home Shield, a home warranty company, came out to clear a clogged hvac drain on Wednesday,. They suctioned out the overflow pan and SUPPOSELY cleaned the drain. The overflow pan filled again wirhin 24 hours, shutting down the A/C once again. A return call to AHS on Friday morning was met with we can send someone out on Monday. I called Spor, who came out within a couple hours, fixed the issue and had our A/C up and running again. I highly recommend these guys who are responsive, professional, and do the job correct the first time.”
