“I would highly recommend Mason Collins!! I honestly don't write many reviews but with his exceptional work and customer service i definitely felt the urge to write one! I had used several plumbers in the area to solve the same issue which was a root intrusion which resulted in digging and replacing the old concrete pipe. No other company seemed to be able to pinpoint the issue like he was able to. He's very competent, easygoing, reliable, and committed to performance. He's also very understanding and empathetic. I recently got scammed in another job and was skeptical to give out money to another contractor but he made sure I was comfortable the whole time! “Couple days ago our kitchen sink started backing up, draining slowly. We tried to fix it ourselves, we are pretty handy and we have a drain snake, but this one was over our heads, we couldn’t get it. So we called 1-800-Plumber in Pearland and they sent Dan Klotz out the next morning. He was spot on time when they said he would be here and he took care of the clog in good order. Said it was a spot about 35 feet down the line. We had option of adding a whole house inspection and water heater flush to the service call for a little over a hundred bucks, and we were particularly wanting our sewer line scoped to make sure there was no impingement on that, so we did that. Our water heater had a fair about of sediment and the sewer line came back clear, so peace of mind there. All told it was a sneeze over 300 bucks and Dan was here working on our house for a good while. I’m really glad we called in a pro, seemed like a good value, thank you all, thanks Dan, that was a great job!”

Charon and the team were super-professional, showing up on time, maintaining a tidy work area, communicating along the way and, no evidence they were ever there, other than the brand-new condenser unit. The price Charon quoted was, indeed, the walk-out price, and it held true at the end of the job (seriously: I was expecting tax and labor to be added to the amount quoted; what a pleasant surprise to learn that the original number quoted would be all I’d have to pay!). I got a top-tier brand, with an appreciably better SEER rating, and a ten year warranty. And it works like a champ! Finally, I think it bears mentioning: Charon *listened* to me when I explained the situation with the system (the reason I was having HVAC companies out to quote), and what I wanted in a solution (“buy once, cry once”), with that understanding, Charon made a recommendation with zero pressure, zero scare tactics. “They advertise "free estimate" but all they do is come out and take a picture of your home so they can show that they were out there. Once Joshua Duran took the picture of my home he said it would be almost $300 to see what's the issue. He was also rude and kept cutting me off trying to upsell stuff i didn't need. Then he drove off and I get an email with estimates of stuff he didnt even look at.. This experience was truly unprofessional from start to finish.”

“I scheduled a service call after been told there was no charge for the visit. When the tech arrived he informed me there was a $180 charge for a diagnostic test. Simply a play on words. What is the point of a visit if you are not going to inform me what the problem is. Don’t waste your time with this company. Avoid, avoid avoid.”
