“I manage a large mobile home park in Pearland for the last 18 years. Through out those years we have relied on A-Better Plumbing many of times to come out and make repairs on our 6" water mains, the main lines can sit anywhere from 4ft to 7ft deep depending on location. They have always squeezed us in and showed up next day and fixed same day. The owner Roland is a stand up guy who is fair and makes sure the job always gets done in a professional manner. “Our new favorite plumbing company. We have used A Better to replace 10 feet of sewer line, then we had them install our dishwasher when Lowe’s dropped the ball on that and most recently we had them out to fix a groaning, creaking noise our pipes were making that we couldn’t figure out. Our pipes have been doing this noise for months and it was driving me crazy and keeping me up at night. I recorded the sound and played it for them and then had them come out to diagnose. It was a simple fix but it needed someone who knew what they were doing to diagnose. A Better will be who we call from now on.”

“I never recommend them anymore. They used to be my regular plumber for my properties. Recently realized that they to not have qualified or experienced plumbers Case 1. I had a leak on line from water meter to house. Their plumber came, CHARGED me and said their solution is to replace the whole line from meter to house which is said to be min. $3000. I called a different plumber and he dug closer to my house first and found the leak, and fixed for $450. Case 2: A toilet in my house was not flushing. The plumber from A-Better Plumbing came and plunged multiple times and used 6ft long snake (which I had already done in advance before they arrived) and said I have a bad commod and need to replace. I gave my own endoscope them to take a look inside. They didn't even know how to use an endoscope to check a plumbing line. I was very sure that there is a block somewhere in the line. They charged me $225 just for using snake which never fixed the problem. I asked them to take the commod off and check. They said it costs me additional $375. Because I was never satisfied with those 2 people which they say "Plumbers", I said no. They said I do not have to worry anymore as they fixed problem.”

“Negative company experience!! Do not use this company is you want a professional, quality job! We used this company last year to install a garbage disposal. Since then it has been leaking. We had to call them out 2 weeks after the initial service was completed. Today I called another plumber because the sink was still leaking. The same guy (short, skinny, white guy with tattoos and big hole ear piercings) came out and showed us pictures of the job that he did last year and tried to argue me down about what happened to the screws that are somehow missing. He was extremely combative, argumentative and looked demented. He kept talking about the pictures from last year and asking me what happened to the screws, so I pulled out my phone to record him and he left! Be ware! If you don’t want to have to get someone to correct their sloppy work, do not use them!”

“Today, I called A- Better plumbing LLC and was promised that they would be sending a Master Plumber to arrive within the hour. However, the master plumber who showed up looked at the issue and left without resolving it, leaving me without water for hours. He told me the secretary would call me. My husband had to postpone his flight to fix the problem himself because I never received a call back! The subsequent workers who then showed up without notice mentioned that they have encountered this issue with this “master plumber” before and advised us to file a complaint with the company.
