“Needed a new complete ac system after our 26 yr old unit began having unrepairable issues. Very pleased with the Air Specialist Company. From Kyle the advisor who came out the same day I called, to the installers Richard & Rene who were here the next day doing the work. They did a fantastic job! “I’m disappointed with my experience. We initially called air specialists because our AC wasn’t working. They got it running again, but it continued struggling. When we called them back, we were charged another service fee and were also told they couldn't get an accurate reading from the outdoor condenser because it was too dirty (which wasn't found in the first service call). the only option they gave was a roughly $600 chemical cleaning. I specifically asked whether there was a cheaper option so they could get an accurate reading and I was told there wasn’t one. I later found on their website that they advertise a $50 tune-up that includes a standard water cleaning of the condenser. I ended up cleaning the coil myself with a garden hose and it looks much better, but I now need to call someone else out to verify that was the actual issue. I would have gladly paid $50 to try the basic cleaning first and then considered a deeper chemical cleaning if it was actually necessary. The combination of not verifying the AC was working correctly after the repairs and not offering the much cheaper service they already advertise made the experience feel more focused on upselling than trouble”

Not only was the call handled swiftly and professionally, but expectations were set properly and updates on technician arrival were given throughout. Once here, Mr Alfaro quickly found the problem and executed a temporary fix to allow our system to cool, and also posed the proper permanent solution - which will require parts replaced and other work. He is extremely personable and professional, and the company that backs him is clearly top of the line. We are very satisfied, and we haven’t even had the full repair done.”
