“There are two things that are certain about Texas one you’ll see a lot of nature and two it’s going to get HOT!!! One of the best decisions you can make is to have a good AC guy. I can say that Micheal over at Texas Modern Air is my AC guy. Coming back from Dominican Republic I did not expect my interior temperature to be similar. I knew the old unit was on its last legs and with a nice heat spike it finished the job. Within a day of calling Micheal he was over checking the pressure on my lines. He discovered an issue in the attic unit ( the coil ). Within an hour of leaving he had a quote for 2 types of repair. After discussing the options with him we went with the more expensive route replacing a majority of the AC but instead of no warranty ( just to replace the part ) we now have a 10 year warranty and Micheal to call if their are any issues. He was very reasonable on pricing for the upgrade as well as he waived his pressure tested on first meeting because of the need for a major fix. Micheal and his son Installed the new system in around 6 hours. Pressure tested the lines , explained all the steps to me clearly and allowed me to look at the work (though I took his word for it on the attic work lol). He and his son were very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and made sure the work was completed and working properly. Within an hour of them finishing my house was already 8 degrees cooler and I could feel the humidity diminishing. Coming from a technician background myself I know how difficult attic and outside work can be. It is extremely demanding and harsh. My brother and I are thankful we found Micheal and Texas Modern Air. As far as we are concerned we will be customers for life.
