“Great first experience with Penguin. I was advised during an AC inspection that I will require an Electrician immediately that it was not safe to turn AC/breaker back on * i called Penguin and they sent a technician same day. John inspected the issue and confirmed it was a dangerous situation and wires were melted on the lines going to each AC unit and will need new lines run from the box to the units. Penguin was able to send 2 Techs to do the work in the AM. They completed the work by the afternoon. The first appointment was fine, but they were so booked that I had to wait over 2 weeks to schedule the actual service appointment. “Bought a new unit from Penguin July of 2024. Still haven’t hit the 2 year mark, even though when my issues started this past March, they were already calling my unit 2 years old and normalizing issues, HA. Regardless, my previous unit of almost 20 years never gave me any issues so I knew better. This one on the other hand, has had multiple that they all blamed the owner for (me of course!). I went with Penguin instead of Parker because they were so rude, unfortunately, Penguin only sends the nice guys when they’re selling you something. My first repair tech? Don’t get me started on him. Michael knows very well he’s never welcome back. After 3 different visits and lots of arguing with many incompetent people, my AC unit is cleaned and back to tip top shape - so they say. “I lost water in my condo about two days ago. I had the water company come over and my HOA come over and no one could figure out why I wasn't getting any water in my unit. I finally just called a plumber myself and the plumber from Penguin found the issue within about 15 minutes (main valve outside was shut off) and I was able to have water in my home again. It was such a huge relief that he was able to fix it. Worst part of being without water was both my cats only drink from faucet so my little guys had to be without water for two days. This is the only company I will use for my plumbing or A/C.”

Garrett’s diagnostics and review of the situation were done in a timely and efficient manner. His knowledge of company policies, protocols and procedures is outstanding! (The guy is a walking policy manual). Then he explained what happened and what caused the problem supported by pictures and documentation. I was highly impressed with his functional knowledge of problem resolution. We sat down and he patiently showed me various options for compatible devices on his iPad that would resolve my problem and fit my budget. “Kade came out and gave me a free estimate. He seemed well informed, was very personable and professional, and explained well what happened and gave me several possible repair scenarios and prices. He helped me choose the least expensive option which gave me confidence that he wasnt trying to upsell me on things I didnt need. Due to my emergency circumstance having a fire in my electrical panel, they escalated the work and got it done within hours. Carl and Rex came out to perform the work and were equally personable and professional. They got things done very fast and walked me through their work and testing all the circuits. “We wanted to thank Manny the install manager for his great communication and for sending Arturo and Efrain to install our duct work modification request. Arturo and Efrain were very professional, personable and kind! 10/10 our home is way cooler now and our AC doesn’t stay on so long now. We had an added on loft but there were no vents in there. Zeb recommended two supply vents and a return in the loft and a third supply vent in the hallway next to the loft. There is a heat warning today and it’s nice and cool in our home thanks to all these guys they were awesome all around and got the job done! Thank you! 🐧”
