ROD Plumbing Inc

ROD Plumbing Inc operates as a plumber based in Round Rock, TX. The company handles drain cleaning, water heater repair, leak detection, and emergency plumbing services for both homes and businesses. It covers the Round Rock area along with surrounding parts of Austin. Service runs 24 hours a day Monday through Friday with the business closed on weekends. The company has operated locally since 2010 and maintains a claimed profile that lists drainage work among its offerings.

Reviewers describe calls for blocked vent pipes that caused sink backups, tankless water heater descaling, gas line connections for grills, and full cast iron pipe replacements in older homes. Technicians named Juan, Eddie, Gustavo, Erik, Carlos, and Javier handled these jobs by snaking drains from roofs, installing mesh caps, diagnosing issues on site, and completing repairs without extra mess. Customers also noted work on rental properties, new builds, and routine maintenance where the same technicians returned for follow-up visits.

Technicians arrive on the same day or the next day after a call, send text updates about arrival times, and give clear explanations of the problem and options before starting. Pricing comes across as reasonable with estimates provided upfront and no added fees mentioned after the fact. The company offers a free camera inspection on request and advertises a $99 drain cleaning option. Work covers residential and commercial properties across the listed service area with consistent availability noted even for last-minute scheduling.

The business holds a 5-star Google rating across 271 reviews. Reviewers repeatedly mention punctual arrivals, knowledgeable diagnoses, respectful interactions, and effective fixes that resolved issues on the first visit.

“I made the call early this morning for someone to come out and within 6hours, Juan showed up, very professional. He explained everything where it was easy for me to understand. He went right in, fixed the problem, and did it with a positive attitude. The only company I call when I have a plumbing question or problem.”

“ROD plumbing did great. Had a blocked vent pipe that was causing water to backup in the sink (something we have to deal with every few years). They snaked the drain from the roof and put a mesh cap on it to prevent future debris from rodents. Fabulous communication- they texted when they were on the way and arrived as expected. They were courteous and respectful every step of the way. And the cost was very reasonable. We will absolutely use them again for plumbing issues. Thank you Erik and Carlos and ROD plumbing!”

“Erik was fantastic to work with. ROD was able to get me on the schedule last minute, which I really appreciated. Erik was always helpful in explaining the process and keeping everything clear along the way. Communication was easy and the experience overall was smooth and professional. Highly recommend!”

“We needed a gas fitter to help us hook up our natural gas grill to an existing outlet. ROD had someone out the next day. Eddie was absolutely amazing. It ended up being pretty tricky but Eddie went above and beyond to get it figured out. He even painted it after he was done to make sure it looked nice. Very happy with ROD and will absolutely use them again for any plumbing needs.”

“Gustavo is by far the best plumber I have ever met. He was able to diagnose the issue immediately through years of experience in the job. He was extremely professional and explained all problems. With every possible problem, he explained the solution. Most plumbers will take your money and tell you it’s fixed but never explain the why and what. ROD is a top notch company that everyone should turn to for a your plumbing needs and feel free to ask for the best plumber Gustavo!”

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Javier for a plumbing issue at my home, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! When the Javier arrived, he was punctual, courteous, and clearly explained the issue and the steps needed to resolve it. His expertise was evident, and completed the job efficiently without any mess or hassle. What impressed me most was his transparency—he provided a detailed estimate upfront and stuck to it, with no hidden fees or surprises. Not only did he fix the problem quickly, but also offered helpful tips to prevent future issues. It’s clear that ROD Plumbing truly cares about their customers and takes pride in their work. If you’re looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and skilled plumbing company, look no further. I will definitely be using ROD Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!”
